Body Sculpt cocoa extract is prepared from fermented and roasted beans. In hyperglycaemic groups, cocoa extract diets can significantly lower serum glucose levels. Furthermore, supplementation of cocoa extract significantly reduces the level of total cholesterol in diabetics. In addition, cocoa extract diets significantly lower total triglycerides.
Interestingly, cocoa extract diet studies have found that serum HDL-cholesterol increased significantly in diabetics, while LDL-cholesterol decreased significantly. Results indicate that cocoa extract possesses potential hypoglycaemic and hypocholestrolemiceffects on serum glucose levels and lipid profiles, respectively.
