FORELIFETM ULTRA-SENSITIVE OVULATION & PREGNANCY TEST (5+3) TEST KIT
The forelife Ultra-Sensitive Ovulation and Pregnancy Test Kit contains Ultra-Sensitive Ovulation Tests and One-Step Pregnancy Tests.
The forelife Ultra-Sensitive Ovulation Test measures changes in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) levels. This hormone (LH) is always present in your urine, and increases just before your most fertile day of the cycle. This LH rise or surge triggers the release of an egg (called ovulation) from one of your ovaries, and this is the time you are most likely to fall pregnant. The Fortel Ultra-Sensitive Ovulation Test is over 99% accurate.
The forelife Extra Pregnancy Test is designed to detect a very small amount of the pregnancy hormone hCG (human (KEYWORD REMOVED)) in your urine. It can be used 3-4 days prior to your expected period, so you need not wait until you have missed your period to complete the test.

When can I do the test?
Use the table overleaf to determine the day you should commence testing, and always test at the same time each day. Do not use first morning urine because it is concentrated and may give a false positive result.
Can alcohol or any common drugs affect the test?
No, but you should consult your doctor if you're taking hormonal medication.
Today's control band was a different shade of pink to yesterday. What does this mean?
Variations in the test band colour do not affect the test result. Always compare the Test Zone 'T' to the Control Zone 'C' on the
same test device.
Can I use the forelife Ultra-Sensitive Ovulation Test for contraception?
No. Sperm can survive for up to 72 hours (3 days), and the test predicts the LH surge only up to 24 to 36 hours in advance.
Therefore if you have intercourse before the LH surge the sperm can still fertilise the egg.

When can I do the test?
You need not wait until you have missed your period to complete the test - you can test as early as 3-4 days before an expected
period. If testing before your period is due its recommended that you use your first morning urine.
What should I do if I get a positive result?
A positive result indicates that the pregnancy hormone hCG was detected. You should see your doctor to confirm your pregnancy
and discuss what to do next. You also may wish to confirm your result by re-testing with another Forelife Extra Pregnancy Test in
3 days time.
What should I do if I get a negative result?
A negative result indicates that the pregnancy hormone hCG was not detected and you probably are not pregnant. If your period does not start within a week you may have miscalculated your cycle length and it's advisable to re-test with another Forelife Extra Pregnancy Test. If the second test result is also negative and you still haven't menstruated your should consult with your doctor.
