Agiolax® is a unique laxative and fibre supplement that helps to relieve constipation and promote regular bowel function. Agiolax contains a specially formulated ratio of natural dietary fibres, made from the seeds and husks of psyllium (Plantago ovata), that is combined with a controlled-release form of the laxative herb senna.
What is Agiolax used for?

A healthy, balanced diet is made up of predominately insoluble fibre (vegetables, seeds, grains, etc). The ratio of fibres found in Agiolax have been specially formulated to match this – consisting of mostly insoluble fibre, with a smaller amount of soluble fibre. Experts suggest that we do not consume enough fibre in our average Australian diet, and may require up to 5-10g per day more than we currently get.
The combination of well-balanced natural fibre and the gentle laxative effect of senna provide an excellent natural solution to constipation and supplements fibre intake.

Agiolax's unique formulation
Agiolax contains a unique combination of a controlled-release form of the laxative herb senna, together with the seeds and husks of psyllium; these constitute a healthy balance of insoluble and soluble fibres, at a rate of 60% insoluble: 40% soluble.
Directions & dosage
Adults and children 10 years and over: 1 teaspoon or 1 sachet in the evening, followed by a glass of water.
Agiolax granules are easy to swallow and can be taken with water or mixed into yoghurt. The granules must be swallowed whole and not chewed. The laxative action is gentle and a bowel movement can be expected 8-12 hours after taking a dose.
It is not recommended to take Agiolax for longer than 1-2 weeks.
