About a month ago, I had a very unfortunate experience as an elderly person. I did all the prep according to directions and still have a failed colonoscopy. To make sure this didn't happen again, I did the prep this time and then used the surgi-pack enema to ensure I was squeaky clean for the surgeon this time around. There is nothing more discouraging than doing the painstaking and stinky prep and then being called a "dirty girl" because I had not had complete success doing the usual prep. For anyone undergoing the horrible surgical colonoscopy they are recommending for most of us over 65.....I am recommending you use this fool-proof way to assure yourself you will not need to do it all over again at great expense and tedious filling-out of forms.
ANOTHER GOOD THING TO KEEP IN MIND....if you are travelling and are unable to maintain your regular routine regarding your bowels, this is a great way to reset your body clock when you get to your destination. It is simple, and always works. There is no guess-work and there is no option for non-effectiveness. This works. Always.
I would never go overseas without this in my luggage. It assures me I won't be bloated after a long flight or suffer from constipation due to gruelling bus schedules that want tourists to be on the bus by 6 a.m. every morning.

Gravity-fed unit less than stellar.
I could not see clearly on the packaging that this was a gravity-feed enema kit only. It works but not very well. Get ome with the shower hose attachment, and the hand pump, instead.

Good kit
Been using this for 2 years now. Still in good condition.
The only comment I have is that the instructions do not make it clear that the user needs to ensure no air in the line prior to insertion..
Otherwise, its a good product.

Don’t recommend
It will do the job, but having previously been accustomed to a different brand, this one has several inconveniences. The clamp is not great - other types allow you to easily with one hand regulate the flow intuitively. This one is difficult to master. Also it is annoying that the hook to hang the bucket isn’t permanently attached. It easily falls off, which, when you’re trying to refill or add water to the bucket while your other hand is busy holding the tube, just creates a watery mess. Instead, I recourse bag-type kit with hanging hook affixed and twist-type regulator valve. Same price, less fuss. Wouldn’t write a review unless a product was either really great or pretty bad.
