Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shields were amazing and helped me get through breastfeeding with my kids. It made breast feeding easier fort me and the shields were worth it because they last and they were comfortable as well. You won’t go wrong with these shield and should definitely give it a go for yourself.

Great transition.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby was premature and her first time sucking was with a bottle, so it didn't tire her as much. She grew so accustomed to the plastic feeling in her mouth that she could not attach naturally. The lactation consultant recommended that we use a medela nipple shield to help with the process of getting her to latch. This worked well!

Good nipple shield
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these nipples shields for both my breastfeeding journeys with boys, I struggled with latching them both and this was recommended by my midwife. I used it for a while I liked that it helped with latching at times but it also would pop off sometimes or was hard to put on. It definitely helped more with my second son than with my first. It continued my journey for a little while until I had to give up due to my milk supply. Pretty good product but does have its weaknesses.

Finally was able to latch using these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to some complications with jaundice and having to express and bottle feed my son in his first week, we were really struggling to latch. My midwife suggested these as it would feel a bit like a bottle in bubs mouth. She called it a 'non slip mat' for baby! Lo and behold, it worked and we breastfed for the first time! I bought two packets thinking I would be using these for the next year, but eventually we achieved a good latch even without them. So don't go overboard, just buy one pack! I gifted the other to a friend. I also like that it comes with a little carry case so you can always have it with you without it getting crumby or grubby.

Saved my BF journey
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a 5 week premature bub breast feeding was difficult from the very beginning. I was adamant I wanted to continue despite having extremely sore nipples from a poor latch, the lactation consultant in the hospital provided me with the Medela breast shield in a size 24 and it instantly made a huge difference to my pain levels and my babies latch. The material is flexible and easy to apply to the breast/nipple. I loved the storage container so I could keep tabs on the shield at all times, this was a huge factor in the success of my breast feeding and without it I would have definitely not continued for over 12 months.

Tried but didn’t like
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this with the recommendation from our lactation consultant as Bub wasn’t able to latch. Unfortunately, these didn’t work and my Bub hated the texture in her mouth.
It didn’t fit properly even after being shown how to put it on and the milk was pooling in the shield itself.
They were quite expensive so was disappointed I wasn’t able to use them as much asI’d like. Thankfully Bub is able to latch now.

Saved my breastfeeding journey
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were given these at the hospital when struggling with breastfeeding. When we returned home we tried a few other brands but quickly returned to these. They fit well, washed well and were a great shape for bub. The case they come with was very annoying but we simply threw this bit out.

Helped with my nipple pain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a little trouble but not huge breast feeding, I had nipple scabs because my daughter wouldn’t latch properly so it helped keep a slight barrier to my nipple aswell as help my daughter latch a lot easier. I only breast fed for 8 days but I used it since day 2 of giving birth.
I’ve kept it for my 2nd baby, and I’d recommend all mums packing one in their hospital bag just incase they have any trouble breast feeding.
Luckily the hospital I was at gave me ours for free which was fantastic.
I also used the medela nipple balm aswell. Great company products
