Directions For Use

Apply to the face and neck after cleansing. Use in conjunction with QV Face Gentle Cleanser to gently cleanse and moisturise sensitive skin. To refresh, cool and tone the skin, use QV Face Rescue Gel, designed for irritated skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MishW from Excellent product So, so soothing and calming for my skin. Im prine to rosacea and very few products work for me. This product absolutely delivers, my skin feels softer and the red patches are now minimal after using it every day for almost 2 weeks. That's a big turnaround for my skin, I generally need to have at least a month for a product to improve these red patches but this one is effective quite quickly. There is no greasy feel, it sinks into the skin and nourishes and calms it effectively. Big thumbs up from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Livvie from Lightweight everyday moisturiser I love QV products and was keen to try this face range after seeing it in the rewards room so am very grateful for the chance! This is a lovely lightweight moisturiser perfect for everyday use on the face. It goes on smoothly and hasn't caused any irritation or sensitivity at all. It doesn't have a strong scent either which is a big factor for me. I've been pairing it with a QV cleanser and serum thanks to the rewards room and my skin feels good. Might need something a bit thicker in winter when it's really dry but for now I'm really happy with this.

From the moment I first used this moisturiser, I could tell that it was the best moisturiser for me. Other moisturisers, in the past, have irritated my skin and made it feel itchy and sweaty. QV face ultra calming moisturiser is calming, soothing and hydrating. It provides just the right amount of hydration and skin conditioning. It definitely lasts for 24 hours, as my skin still feels soft, silky and hydrated the next day after applying it. I recommend this face cream for those with sensitive skin, or who want to be gentle to their skin.

Qv is a great brand and I love this moisturiser for my sensitive skin. It’s really gentle and calming, it helps get rid of any redness in my skin, particularly around my nose area. It’s packed full of vitamins to do my skin good and it’s really hydrating and soothing. This goes great under my makeup as it’s light and sinks straight into my skin with no greasy feeling. It has no scent really and is non irritating. A great budget friendly buy that I will purchase again and would recommend

It is hydrating, calming, non-greasy and feels lovely on the skin. I mix it with a couple of drops of rose hip oil if I am feeling particularly dry. It works great under make up, even with extra sunscreen on top. A fantastic no nonsense moisturiser for people with dry, sensitive or reactive skin. I used both this and the cleanser from the QV face range and love them both. A great staple product from a great Australian company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by monica.ip from Perfect for very VERY sensitive skin! I first purchased this upon recommendation from the dermatologist I was seeing due to some sort of dermatitis on my face. I had red blotchy patches all over my face. It was the first time I face had experienced this sort of problem, and the majority of my skin care products began stinging my face. It had become much too sensitive for them and would flare up if I tried applying it to my skin. This moisturiser was a lifesaver during the months I had to deal with my skin issues!! This moisturiser is very gentle and soothing on the skin and has a very light consistency so you don't need too much to cover your face. During the months of my skin troubles, I made sure to use plenty of moisturiser on my face so I made sure to do my skincare routine at least an hour before I went to bed so that the moisturiser had plenty of time to absorb into my skin. Sometimes I used a Japanese lotion/toner to help the absorption of the product, which did help. Since my recovery, I believe that this moisturiser does the job of most other moisturisers but with the added bonus of calming the skin. So the QV Ultra Calming Moisturiser is for "irritated and sensitive skin" as advertised on the bottle. The packaging of the product comes in a squeeze bottle rather than a pump bottle, which I would have preferred more. However, there is nothing wrong with the packaging and the product dispenses well from it, although a few times I did find dried moisturiser around the rim of the dispenser. Overall this moisturiser is only great for people who want a calming effect from moisturisers, and people with very sensitive skin. It did wonders for me, so I will definitely turn back to it if things take another turn with my skin in the future.

I had tried a tester on my hand, and thought it would be a good budget option as I just go through so much face moisturiser now winter is here. It feels lovely to put on, and is cooling and soothing on application. I find that it doesn't entirely absorb, and leaves a film without providing the deeper hydration or barrier repair. It will probably be a great after-shower body moisturiser for me, but the way it sits on my face means that I'm not getting the hydration I was after, it feels like it is clogging my pores and there's residue I need to wash off. If anything, for me it may work best as a quick application wash-off mask. Big advantage is it is gentle and light, which can be hard to find.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Miss19 from Alright but contains mineral oils My skin has been really out of control lately, as I have combination skin, and with all the products I've been using my skin started to become very sensitive. It started to get really red, flaky and itchy so I wanted to use a moisturiser to help keep my skin calm and hydrated. The QV ultra calming moisturiser was a runny lotion that was unscented. It came in a squeeze bottle which was nice but the product would drip out causing a lot of spillage and wastage. I applied it all over my face and it absorbed quickly. Considering I have combination/oily skin the hydration was decent but it may not be enough if you have normal, dry or very dry skin. It didn't feel sticky or greasy and I found that my skin felt better after using. I did realise after looking at the ingredients that in contained mineral oils and my skin is prone to being congested so I was worried about that as I found myself breaking out a bit after using. It also contains panthenol which can clog pores as well. It's an average moisturiser but probably not something I would continue using especially with my skin type.
