Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was just a Average Conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample in the April Beautorium. I found it was quite a decent conditioner, it did the job but it wasn’t better than my normal conditioner. It didn’t leave my hair dry or feeling brittle. It didn’t leave any residue in my hair unlike another conditioner has done to my hair previously and it did wash out well and was easy to apply onto my hair. The one thing I absolutely hated about this was the smell . It has a very strong artificial/chemical like smell, that I found to be quite overpowering and stayed on my hair after I washed the conditioner out of my hair and lasted most of the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lingering fragrance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this with my Beautorium haul, thank you Beauty Heaven. I tried the shampoo as well. For my hair the conditioner was better than the shampoo. I have short, dry, coloured hair, the Active Nourishment Conditioner contains Aloe Vera and Fruit Vitamins. It left my hair feeling tangle free and clean. The fragrance is quite strong, mainly Aloe Vera, I mean you can smell it the next day, which I didn't mind. The shampoo/conditioner combo would probably be better on normal or oil hair. I love using Palmolive products they are great value for money, however this one I would not purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light conditioning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample as part of my beautorium order, I was able to get one use out of the sample. So first I used the shampoo, which at first felt very nice, as it smelt fresh and wonderful, and lathered really well. But as I rinsed, my hair became really dry, so I applied all the conditioner and combed it through which was a struggle but I eventually managed to comb it through. I think the conditioner was too light for me, although I have fine hair, I do have a lot of hairand it does appreciate a nice rich conditioning experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner has such a refreshing, it's subtle, but some what floral. The scent is probably my absolutely favourite part about this conditioner. It is super hydrating, leaving your hair feeling clean and refreshing. It's great for dry, split ends, helping to refresh your ends really well. If you have oily hair, like me, than I would highly recommend NOT using this conditioner on anything other than your ends. It has really helped to nourish my ends and keep them hydrated all the time. However, using them on anything other than your ends may leave your hair greasy and oily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hair conditioner that I can finally use !!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from thinning hair and so I omit using conditioner after I shampoo my hair. The reason for it is this. Each time I apply conditioner to my hair, more hair falls out during the application and sticks to my fingers. So by the time I have rinsed out the conditioner, that is a large wad of hair around the shower drain hole which is very distressing to see. When Beauty Heaven sent me a sample of Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Conditioner to use in conjunction with its shampoo, I expected the same thing to happen. What surprised me about this conditioner is its consistency which, unlike other brands of hair conditioner that I have used, is very light. It also has a nice fragrance that reminds me of apples. Other conditioners somehow feel heavy and greasy on my hair and fingers but this one certainly doesn't. It seems to absorb quickly into my hair without that greasy feel and rinses out cleanly with water. What was most noticeable of all is that it did not cause loads of my hair to fall out which I am so happy about. In fact, the fall out was minimal. Once dry, my hair felt soft and had a bit of bounce. I'm glad that this was one of the samples that Beauty Heaven included in my April 2016 Beautorium parcel because at last I've found a hair conditioner that is right for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great match to the shampoo, lovely scent and lightweight conditioning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband trialed this Beautorium sample (and several extras we had been given in a pharmacy order) for me for a week and he was quite impressed with it. The formula is very thick and creamy but it provides lovely lightweight conditioning. Usually he does not condition his hair as being a male he can be a bit lazy and usually opts for a conditioning shampoo to cut down on the steps. He did however like this one and he even complied and used it for a full week (of daily use). He has dry-normal hair, and usually conditioners can leave his hair a bit heavy and coated which is why he prefers to skip them. This one does not do that. Only a small amount is needed as the thick white lotion consistency goes a long way. It smells nice too, not flowery perfumey nice, but fresh botanical nice, which is good because he is not a fan of highly scented "girly" ones! I think I have finally converted him to a 2 step hair washing routine!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautorium sample [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of this conditioner, together with the shampoo, from my recent Beautorium haul. I usually use a specific blonde conditioner. The scent was similar from the shampoo, quite fruity, maybe too much for some people but didn't bother me too much. I applied this from mid lengths to ends and combed through to get rid of any knots. I found this conditioner a little thinner than other products that I am used to- whether that means I applied more I am not too sure, but this did seem to leave my fine hair a bit limp and oily looking at the roots. Price wise and size wise I am sure this will be a winner with families.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Very Nourishing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a bonus sample with my last Beautorium haul. It came in a little satchet which was split in two for convenience.. I loved the way it was packaged. Very handy and no waste that way. One use of this particular product however was enough to know it wasn't for me. The positives however-reasonably priced, some fantastic natural ingredients( like aloe vera in particular), smells incredible and the scent lasts for hours after washing. I however found my ends were dryer than they would be after use of most other conditioners. Was basically like I had only used shampoo. My hair is usually quite dry at the ends but most conditioners fix that. Not so for me with this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A light nourishing conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for this bonus item at the beautorium and is a review for the "Normal " hair conditioner and used it in conjunction with the hair shampoo. My ends are generally dry and I found the conditioner quite light yet nourishing enough to smooth my dry ends .What I did was wash with the nourishing shampoo and after the final rinse I squeezed any excess water from my hair and then comb through using a wide tooth comb . I don't use conditioner on my scalp as I find it too oily , but was perfect for making my ends nice and silky . If you have hair that is extremely dry , I would consider using a conditioner specifically for dry hair or add an extra treatment to it as I think it will be insufficient for very dry hair types.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice and soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on mine and my daughters hair - and because her hair is virgin hair (7 yrs old) it shone and felt SO soft - it definitely softened mine and when it dried it had a lovely scent and felt amazing - no knots ... Its a bit thin for me as usually I like thicker conditioners for my drier ends but it definitely worked a treat ..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than the shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this is meant to be used in conjunction with its matching shampoo, I actually like this over the shampoo. The conditioner moisturised my hair after it was dried out by all the chlorine from swimming. It does not however, detangle my hair so that's a big no for me. As compared to other supermarket conditioners, this one is not as great so I wouldn't repurchase the full size one. I would rather spend a little more money and buy something like Dove.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesnt suit my dry frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have fine, flyaway damaged blonde hair and i usually use a very thick deep conditioner, particularly on the damaged ends. ...So i knew straight away when i saw the consistency of the conditioner that it would not work well for my hair. i left it on for an extra couple of minutes to try to make it soften my ends but when i washed it out my hair felt dry and straw-like. i had to apply quite a bit of leave in conditioner to get my hair manageable but still it felt quite brittle and dry. definitely would not buy the full size product, doesnt work for my hair Brand Response: Hi Alicia393, it's Palmolive here. We saw your review for Palmolive Naturals Active Nourishment Shampoo & Conditioner and we were sorry to learn that our product wasn't as conditioning as you had hoped. We thank you for your feedback and would like you to know that we also have an Intensive Moisture variant in our Palmolive Naturals Hair Care range for you to try as an alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Natural & Nice [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks BH for the opportunity to trial this conditioner from my Beautorium haul. The sachet of the conditioner was well thought out, as I have fairly straight hair it allowed me to use one section for one use then the other section for the next use, so no mess like most sachets. The picture of the tube on the sachet is green and I love green, it’s so refreshing and natural, hence the “naturals” name for the product. I would purchase this conditioner for so many reasons: the scent is not overpowering, very light and beautiful, the silkiness of the formula is superb, my hair feels soft and tangle-free, shiny and keeps my hair like this for days. A little bit goes a very long way and very affordable. There are other variations of the “naturals” range, this one contains Aloe Vera and fruit vitamins and is for a normal hair type but I would love to try the colour protection and damage repair from this range.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from April Beautorium sample - good/average conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Beautyheaven for including a sample of this conditioner in my Beautorium order. I was quite surprised at the consistency of the conditioner, it was not as thick as the conditioners that I'm used to using. I have long fine hair, that lacks volume, but it's in reasonable condition. I don't have many split ends and I rarely colour my hair. The conditioner had a pleasant fragrance and it did help make my hair a bit more manageable, but I still needed to use a detangling spray after using it. It's a bit hard to comment on any long term benefits but it did a reasonable job at conditioning but it's something that I probably wouldn't purchase again but I'm glad I had the chance to try it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received this conditioner in couple of sample sizes. One wash was enough for me not to reuse this product again. My hair strands are fine, long hair and oily scalp. I would wash hair every 3 days. After using this matching conditioner and shampoo, my hair was straw like, no bounciness, just stiff and fluffy. The same day the scalp was itchy, and it went worse overnight. Hair looked dry and dull, with lack of my usual shine. Scent-smell is very strong, cheaper chemical perfume style, and it stays with the same potency until the next wash (I had to wash my hair the next day, as the scent and itchy scalp were persistently irritating.) Drying of the hair was done outdoors, as the scent was making me nauseous (so could not eat all day). Not for sensitive skin, not for oily scalp and not for people with reactions to strong chemical perfumes. Brand Response: Hi Yohanna, it's Palmolive here. We saw your review and while we're sorry to learn that you weren't able to achieve the results you expected, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please give us a call on 1800 802 307 so we can get some more details from you about your experience, and perhaps help to identify another Palmolive Naturals shampoo & conditioner that will better suit your needs. Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautorium Sample Review - Left Me Knotty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of Palmolive body scrubs, but when it comes to shampoo & conditioner, I've never found Palmolive to work for my oily hair. This sample came in two sections, which look like they were intended for two uses. I don't use much conditioner on my hair, just a little in the mid-length & ends. I used both sections of the sample in one use. I still didn't feel like my hair was conditioned. I found this conditioner was difficult to work through my hair. I found it much more difficult to detangle my hair after washing & also when I got up the next morning. It smells nice, but that doesn't make up for its poor performance on my hair. PURCHASE? No. This conditioner did nothing for my hair. Made in Thailand. INGREDIENTS: Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethiconol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Quaternium-82, Glyceryl Stearate, Perfume, Amino Bispropyl Dimethicone, PEG-55 Stearate Laureth-4, Laureth-23, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methylisothiazolinone, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Citric Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Actinidia Chinensis Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Fruit Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Fruit Extract.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silky smooth hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of this conditioner, together with the shampoo, from my recent Beautorium haul. This conditioner leaves my hair really soft and smooth, whether I use it with the corresponding shampoo or a different shampoo from another brand. I have noticed that my hair is noticeably smoother to touch which gives it a bit more slip. I don't mind the slip as my hair is quite straight so I don't do much in terms of styling but I think beauties that want more volume may need to use a texturising product or some dry shampoo to get a bit of texture back into their hair when styling. Will definitely repurchase this conditioner when I run out of my currently one. So affordable too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nourishing conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this in the recent Beautorium haul. This Active Nourishment Conditioner which comes in the green bottle has a lovely long lasting fresh/fruity scent, and is a creamy, silky and slightly slippery formula. It absorbs well into wet hair and helps soften, smooth and detangle my dry/damaged hair. It washes out quite easily and leaves my hair feeling nourished. Those with oily hair/roots may find this conditioner to be a bit heavy and may make their hair even more greasy. However it works well for my dry hair/ends which needs lots of hydration and nourishment. After drying my hair, my hair felt softer and smoother. I particularly love the lingering fresh scent! I think this smells even better once the hair is dried. I will put this on my to buy shopping list.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Light Conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long hair so i had to use my two samples at once. This conditioner didn't feel like it was conditioning as much as many other conditioners. It's quite light, but even so, it was very easy to comb through. Afterwards when my hair was dry, it did have a lovely shine though..... which I find hard to achieve normally.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent conditioner at a great price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a companion to the shampoo, this is a decent budget-friendly conditioner that will get the job done. For me this is more of a product I might grab if I was going on holiday and my luggage was lost, or if I just wanted something cheap that I wouldn't be upset about if it got lost, or as a head lice comb-thru treatment for the kids (who always seem to have head lice so it's good to use a cheap conditioner because it takes a ton of it to get through all the repeat combings). Basically it didn't blow my socks off, but it's not terrible either.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not hydrating enough [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this conditioner together with the matching shampoo and I must say that out of this pair I much prefer the shampoo. This condition has a pleasant fruity scent and the consistency is creamy and is absorbed well into the hair. But for me it stops there. My hair is the weird kind where my ends will be dry and split and my roots will be oily, so I really do really on a good conditioner (followed by a good leave-in treatment and/or oil) to make sure that it is well hydrated and not drying out. I did not feel that after the rinsing my hair was particularly well hydrated and smooth. And it looked frizzy once it was dried, which is not unusual for me, but I have used conditioner that have helped to combat the frizz much better compared to this one from Palmolive. I have to be honest, I do not think I will be purchasing the full size, but that it why sampling is so very important, so thank you BH for the opportunity to try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from April 2016 Beautorium palmolive conditioner sample pack [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the palmolive naturals active nourishment sample pack conditioner from beautorium and decided to give it go. I have not tried this one before but I have tried a few of the other ranges. It comes in a green packaging and is very easy to use. It has a very lovely smell and leaves hair feeling soft, strong and nourished. It penetrates the hair strands, nourishing it giving it the natural look.It rinses off very easily .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my hair type - new favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks BH for the sample - new favourite conditioner! I really enjoyed the scent - it was light and refreshing. I didn't have to use as much product as I usually do with conditioner and it left my hair feeling fresh and clean. Hair type is: fine/straight - dark brunette I find with how dark my hair is any products that are moisturising / for volume leave my hair feeling heavy-greasy too quickly - my biggest gripe with most hair products. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have this issue with this brand. Typically, by the end of the day after I just washed my hair it seems I have to use dry shampoo but with this product my hair is looking and feeling great even by the end of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from April 2016 Beautorium Sample - Wowwww! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this after using it's matching shampoo. This conditioner is a white and quick-working formula that doesn't weigh my hair down. It leaves my hair and scalp feeling and looking perfect - there is no colour deposits and being a blonde I really like that! My hair is left looking like a 'clean blonde'. I was impressed after using this shampoo and conditioner pair. The soft almost-floral subtle scent of this shampoo is relaxing and just lovely for a conditioner. There is no over-powering smell here. My hair is left really shiny and healthy and soft with this conditioner. I try and leave it in for a couple of minutes and then comb through gently with a wide-toothed comb (from tips to roots). I mostly put this conditioner on the ends and lengths and then just a little bit of diluted conditioner further up near the roots - but not much there at all as I have naturally greasy roots. After sampling this in the April 2016 Beautorium I will be buying this as a staple product (along with the matching shampoo). My hair was left looking amazingly healthy and it felt light yet nourished. I was unexpectedly impressed by this - and it's only $4.99?!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoyed it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the beautyheaven trial for this conditioner in conjunction with the shampoo.. I did enjoy using this conditioner, especially given that I use a bit more exxy products on my hair because I am blonde. It is very nourishing and I found it to smooth my ends and de-frizz my hair, It also smells quite lovely too. Thanks for letting me trial this bh & Palmolive. xx

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Budget Buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product over a couple of weeks, I was happy with the smell and feel of the product. It didn't go through my hair as well as I hoped, which resulted in having to use more than I normally would, but that didn't bother me too much. I love the packaging, green is so attractive in a store full of pinks, blues and blacks. It is eyecatching. Used in conjunction with the Palmolive Naturals Shampoo, I found these products to be very good for those on a budget :) Thanks BH!
