Directions For Use

For babies, drops can be dispensed onto the breast, or added to breast milk or formula, and can also be dispensed on a sterile spoon.
Shake well for 10 seconds before each use to mix the bacteria culture with the oil.
To dispense the drops, tilt the bottle gently and give by a spoon.
Use 5 drops once daily.
No need to refrigerate. Store below 25°C.
Do not add drops to hot food, hot drinks or feed directly into the mouth from the bottle as this may reduce the quality of the product.

Ingredients/Material

Sunflower oil, mono- and diglycerides, and Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938.

Warnings and Disclaimers

We do not recommend the use of BioGaia Protectis drops to preterm infants.

5 drops once daily. One daily dose contains a minimum of 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis.

Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

BioGaia products contain gentle ingredients, including sunflower oil, medium chain triglyceride oil, probiotic cultures, and silicon dioxide.

According to the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (No. 2) 2018, none of these ingredients require a health warning or contain any allergenic substances.

Additionally, BioGaia products are free from any bee-derived substances (such as propolis) and common food allergens (please see the list below). This includes both the product itself and the substrate used for growing the probiotic cultures.

The following common allergens have not been used in the manufacturing of BioGaia products:

Ran out unbelievably quick, just discovered the mechanism inside that helps to create drops was broken. Pharmacy Online is great though, delivery quick and everything packaged well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bbjae from Works a treat Used this when bub was about 4 weeks old. Saw an improvement by day 3 and within a week of using it colic symptoms were gone. I was finally able to put bub down for his naps. Love this product and recommend it for anyone with a colicky baby.
