So satisfying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Biore deep cleansing pore strips are so satisfying to use! I have used pore strips many times throughout my life and I am always impressed with the results. The product is really easy to use, you just have to follow the directions on the package but as someone who has used them before I knew what to expect. Nevertheless, I still followed the instructions. You have to get your nose wet and then apply the pore strip onto your nose in the direction stated on the packaging. I press it down to ensure that it's sticking to my nose. After awhile you will notice that it will start to feel tight and after around 10-20 minutes you can take it off. Taking off the pore strip doesn't feel painful as I try to peel it off in the most gentle way possible. Afterwards you are able to see just what was removed from your nose. All the congestion and sebaceous filaments are removed and you can see it all there on the strip! It looks gross but it's satisfying to see what was removed. My nose looks and feels so clean afterwards!

Gets the job done
It's such a simple concept and does the job for some last minute blackhead removals.
The packaging is simple - just remove strips and off you go! The most fun aspect of this is just looking at how many blackheads and oil gets pulled out from this however this is not the best way to maintain your blackhead situation in the long run.
For the RRP, and the fact you only get 6 in the box - it's steep for what it is, however I keep a box of these in the bathroom for them emergency situations.
There's a plastic-y smell to these strips but overall nothing too bothersome as you are only supposed to leave on your nose for about 10 mins or so.

OK for an emergency clog fest
If your nose is absolutely peppered with white and blackheads one day, then I'd recommend arming yourself with one of these strips after a quick cleanse.
The strip will pull out surface level clogs easily, though it's a bit painful and if you stick it down too close to your delicate eye area... yeowch!
I still believe that a proper double cleanse and exfoliation will be more effective at removing dirt and dead skin from your pores, but these strips are adequate if you're in a rush or want to be extra thorough before the aforementioned steps.
If you're prone to spider veins or popped blood vessels, however, steer clear!

I will always love it
I’ve been using these since high school. They are the only thing that truly helps me with blackheads. I’ve used a lot of scrubs that claim to aid in removing blackheads, but nothing comes quite as close as those strips. It’s also soo satisfying to pull off. Great feeling lol. It’s good with pulling out those fine, little hairs too. I buy these all the time. They’re honestly an obsession at this point for me. They’ve become an essential. I use them on my chin, forehead and cheeks and get pretty good results.

Leaves nose cleaner.
The Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips were so satisfactory to use. The fact that I could literally rip out the blackheads was awesome.
I used the strips once a week while soaking in a bath (to ensure that my skin was soft and pores open). The instructions are easy to follow. I have sensitive skin and I could only leave the strip on for 5 minutes before I could feel that it was ready to be taken off. The peeling off part might be a bit painful and I had to do it slowly but the moment I could see all the residue on the strip, I was happy that the pain had paid it off and my nose was a bit cleaner again.
Unfortunately, the strip didn't clean all the pores and a lot of the blackheads were still there, I would definitely recommend at least giving it a go start getting your journey towards cleaner skin.

One strip satisfying wonder
I was first introduced to these pore strips back in high school and since then, they have been an item I could rely upon when needed.
I was drawn to the eye catching detailing of the product on the front's packaging, which included a direct, centered heading of the product, an image of how the strips were used, and the number of strips inside.
Each unscented strip was
individually packed with clear written instructions,
accompanied by drawings of how the strip was applied.
To say I was shocked to what appeared on the other side of the strip after my first use was an understatement. It was hard to believe yet at the same time
satisfying that this one strip, applied for up to 15 minutes, removed unwanted and hidden blackheads, whiteheads, dirt
and more, making you feel good
and confident about your skin.

Gross but effective!
I suffer from enlarged pores and sebaceous filaments. Pore strips were all the rage in the 90s but it was good to try them again. For my skin type, I decided to oil-cleanse my skin first to loosen the 'plugs' in my pores. After rinsing and drying and wetting my nose, I put this on and leave it for 12 minutes until it dries completely.
I gently peel the strip off and can see all the grey brown gunk all over the strip. Kinda gross, but also satisfying! With the gunk removed, my pores look cleaner and less noticeable. My nose didn't dry out and peel the next day which was good.
I don't use this very often and definitely not when my skin is dry. It is effective but not something you want to use all the time, as the adhesive is very strong. But I think it's better than squeezing.

Nice pore strips
I found the Biore Pore Strips - The Original and Limited Edition Design easy to use an quite effective at removing blackheads from the nose. I could not identify any differences between the Biore Pore Strips - The Original design versus the Limited Edition Design apart from the packaging and they way they looked once applied to the nose.
The Biore Pore Strips - The Original and Limited Edition Design are easy to use with instructions that provide you with a step by step guide on how to ensure you get the most effective use out of the product for blackhead removal.
I would recommend the Biore Pore Strips - The Original and Limited Edition Design to anyone who would like to get rid of blackheads on their nose. I think that using this once to twice a week would provide the most bebefit in removing blackheads and keeping them at bay.

Effectively improves pores!
Biore deep cleansing nose strips are designed to fit any nose shape or size. The strips are presented in hygenically sealed, singular packages that easily tear vertically down to open.
Each strip has a plastic backing that peels off to reveal a sticky patch that easily binds onto blemishes, blackheads, pimples and impurities of the nose.
I applied it to a pre washed face using tap water only and found the patch quite comfortable to wear and non irritating.
I found that it remained in place firmly by avoiding facial or mouth movements as it unsticks around the edges with too much expression.
The strip needs to be kept on for 10 minutes before peeling off so that it can effectively work.
Surprisingly, I could see a large amount of impurities removed from the nose that weren't completely visible on the skin surface prior to application.
My skin felt soft, smooth and luxiourishly clean!

Pore strips are like spring clean for your pores
Pore strips have been around in the beauty industry for a long time! I've heard every shame and fame about them and really at the end of the day, it comes down to personal experience and whether it's done a positive thing to your skin. For me I love them!
My go to is definitely Biore and these ones are the Deep Cleansing pore strips. Biore does good ones because their designs fit nicely over your nose and also for the ones around the corners of your mouth and chin. Very useful!
I have an concoction of actives and skin care products going on that combats a lot of my skin issues along with plenty of other products to try including old school favourites and new innovative ones.
Despite all of that going on and keeping my skin pristine, there's something about a pore strip that just physically takes away my blackheads and whiteheads! Not amount of acne serums or blackhead/whitehead removal toners or mosituriser physically gets down and dirty in those pores to yank out those pesty heads!
Once they're gone, I resume my acne serums, toners moisturiser etc and all my actives and it just refines and smoothes my skin the next day. I know blackheads and white heads come back but I found them coming back at a slower rate and less of it, of course if I keep up with my rigorous skin care routine then they are somewhat kept at bay.
I have large pores so not the pore strips won't 'shrink' your pores, but the notion is if those blackheads and whiteheads are not removed or kept in control, the clogged pores get expanded giving the appearance of large pores. The pore srtips removes the black/whiteheads but with an expanded pores there's nothing you can do about it except to keep the skin smooth and clear so to reduce that appearance.
Definitely be using pore strips again, but really I use them around 3 times per year, gives me a clean slate to treat my pores!

A classic fave!
I would like to thank Beautyheaven and Biore for giving me the opportunity to trial pore strips. I think most of us are familiar with what a pore strip is, We’ve all seen those gross yet fascinating after shots of all the gunk on a used pore strip. For this trial, I used it on both myself and my husband who is prone to blackheads, whiteheads and congestion along his nose. I always find a pore strip really fun to use, it’s like giving yourself a mini facial and the visible results are always weirdly satisfying to see. I do enjoy the packaging of these, as they are quite thin and small you can stash them in your bathroom drawer for easy access. I apply these to my nose and my husband‘s nose after doing a cleanse and tone, and left them for 15 minutes until they had dried and felt nice and firm.
One tip I will say, is to be careful when pulling them off as you can cause a bit of stinging if you don’t take enough care. I loved seeing the results, and was mildly horrified/fascinated at what had come out of both our faces. Both our noses looked cleaner and felt much smoother after use. These are a fun little addition to a skincare routine, and if you like seeing visible results from products, these are definitely for you!

Pores Are Normal, But Pore Strips Are Still Fun
I'm a middle-aged woman who grew up in the era of Dolly magazine, Aapri Apricot Facial Scrub and Biore Pore Strips. Photoshop was just finding its niche when I was establishing my sense of self-worth, and I entered adulthood believing that your body had to be very slender but still curvy, and that skin should be poreless and completely even in tone.
It's been a long time since my teens, and the only product remaining on the shelves of my local Woolworths is the old faithful, Biore. (The rubbish beauty standards are still hanging around, unfortunately.) They've had a little bit of a facelift, with cutesy (childish) decorative prints on the strips, but they're still essentially the same product with the same application process, and the same outcome. Wash your face, leave it wet. Open the individual pouch, give the strip a twist, peel off the backing, and smooth it onto the nose and surrounding skin. After 10-15 minutes, the strip will have dried completely, bonding to whatever is in your pores. If you genuinely have blackheads, yay! Out they come! If, like me, you just have the very normal and somewhat protective sebaceous filaments, out they come too...until they return in a very short space of time.
While it's so very satisfying to check out the results of your pore-cleansing exercise, it's ultimately pointless. Do it for fun, by all means, but try to remember that it's normal and expected for skin to have pores and texture, and that sebaceous filaments are there for a good reason.

Doesn’t reduce appearance of pores
Bioré Pore Strips takes me back to my teens more than 25 years ago, I think when they first came out and everyone was amazed/grossed out by the stuff that comes off when you peel off the strip. Everyone thought it was all gunk that came out and kept using it because that gunk just keeps coming back. Pores looked even more pronounced after that stuff in them gets pulled out.
Fast forward five years when I eventually saw a dermatologist and found out that most of the stuff that comes out from the strip are sebaceous filaments that are a normal part of our skin’s anatomy, therefore will always grow back. Skin is not congested or blocked when we have these filaments, it’s just what’s normal. It’s when they become infected or inflamed that it becomes a problem. Taking out the filaments to stop it from being infected or inflamed is like chopping off your knee to prevent knee pain. There are other, more effective, ways to treat black/whiteheads and enlarged pores.
I got this free to trial and review and gave them to my teenage son so he can have a little fun, but I’m not purchasing because I feel there are better ways to treat congested and blocked pores.

So satisfying!
These strips never fail to disappoint! I’m 40. Blackheads should be a thing of the past, right, something that teenagers have to deal with and not mature age women?? Afraid not!! I used to regularly use these strips when I was younger but hadn’t bought them in years. As soon as I used them again I was transported back to why I loved them so much! They are super easy to use and they work - like seriously what more can you ask for.
Yo use them, I wet my nose then stick the strip to it. I then leave it until it is rock hard - I usually try to wait around 15 mins though in reality it’s usually fully dry in under 10. I then loft the edges up on each side and peel carefully towards the Centre of my nose. Then…the most satisfying part - examining the haul of blackheads stuck yo the strip! There are always heaps! It doesn’t hurt and is the easiest way to clear out the blackheads. I like to use it once a week.

Old faithful, new twist
The Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips have been a beauty staple for many blackhead sufferers for some time. Now they have a fun new twist! The limited edition range of prints features smiley faces, balloons and kisses on the pore strips, totally unnecessary but 100% fun.
The Biore strips are applied to wet skin which allows the adhesive to stick to the skin. When the strip has dried it can be pulled off to remove blackheads, fine hairs and dead skin from the nose. There isn’t much in life that gives greater satisfaction than seeing a pore strip covered in blackheads.
The strips certainly do minimise the appearance of blackheads but they don’t minimise the enlarged pores which remain like empty craters until a new blackhead fills the place of the one just removed. They can be quite irritating and remove healthy skin. While I lived for these in my 20s, with more knowledge I now rarely use them. The results are short term and I’ve developed spider veins around my nose that I don’t want to irritate.

Best on the market
This product has been the best one I've found since it launched many, many years ago.
The product is very straight forward and easy to use. Guys love it too!
All you need to do is wash your face. While it is still damp, apply the nose strip so it'd adhere to the skin. I then pop on a mask for the rest of the face. After 10-15mins. The product should feel tight. I gently but quickly peel off by lifting a corner and with my other hand, holding down the skin and rip it off like I'm waxing. It is so satisfying to see the gunk stuck to the strip! My favourite part. Follow with your skincare routine.
It's so easy to use and you get instant results. The only thing is, there's so many options now it's confusing and I find the results is the same whether it has charcoal or not.

Fun Self Pampering Activity!
Thanks bh for letting me part of this super exciting trial team. I received this product in the 'Best in Beauty' box and was excited to try.
I was never one to use a pore strip before, although I remember it was a huge trend when I was in high school. I regularly exfoliate my skin using clay masks, glycolic peels and chemical peels so I never saw the need for pore strips. Nevertheless, when in lockdown, self pampering is a must!
I gave it a try over a self pampering weekend. I took one out of the plastic sleeve and unpeeled the strip like a bandaid and placed it on my nose. I followed the directions and left it there as recommended. My hair up in a bun, I was in my comforting oodie, and my feet in those baby foot foot spa peels. Then it came time to strip it off! Boy oh boy, I was so keen to see what wonderful things the strip would pull out. Also read that Shay Mitchell loves these pore strips! And... *drum roll* it was somewhat underwhelming. I think the strips did pull out some dirt and grime and other nasties but I did not have any blackheads to see the full effect. My nose does feel soft and 'clean' afterwards but no apparent change. I think it does do the trick, its just not right for me. Still, it was super fun nonetheless and affordable self pampering activity!

Pore Strips
I got to try the Deep Cleansing Pore Strips from the Best in Beauty Box 2021 from Beautyheaven.
The Deep Cleansing Pore Strips came in a packet of 6, all individually wrapped which is good for hygiene. As well as instructions on how to use them too.
Deep Cleansing Pore Strips is a product that helps to get rid of what makes up blackheads (like dirt, dead skin cells and sebum oil). It is a product you use weekly to keep on top of those pesky blackheads from forming.
You wash your face first to make sure your face is nice and clean but don’t dry your nose as it needs to be wet for the strip to stick to your nose, after applying to your nose simply wait 15 minutes until the strip is hard, then you can take it off and voila, you should have less blackheads on your nose.

Interesting product
I haven’t used pore strips in a little while so I was very happy to receive them in Beauty Heaven’s best of beauty box 2021. These Biore deep cleansing pore strips are oddly satisfying to use on my nose. I have used these previously and I’m always surprised at how well they unclog my pores. For this product I would definitely recommend reading the instructions as there is a certain technique to use to get the most out of this beauty process. I have slacked a little recently with deep cleaning my pores so I will definitely be partaking in the use of these pore strips more often. You get a few in the pack which is always good. I have used pore strips regularly in the past and would definitely repurchase the Biore ones as I think that they worked really well with my combination skin type and unblocked my pores.

Gross but Satisfying
I was given the Biore Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips to try as part of the Best in Beauty 2021 trial. This kind of thing was all the rage in magazines when I was a kid but I’ve never tried it – mostly because I’ve never really known what blackheads are (that probably sounds crazy!) and I don’t have particularly big issues with the pores on my nose. It was actually fun using the strips though. The first time I tried it, my skin was slightly damp so the strip didn’t suction on well and the result was only a few tiny hairs pulled out. The second time, I followed the instructions to “thoroughly wet my nose” and the strip attached much more successfully onto my nose. After a good 10-15 minutes, I peeled off the strip very carefully (much like a bandaid, I wouldn’t recommend ripping it off!) and found that this time there was some plugs of dirt and general disgustingness on the strip, mostly where it sat on the tip of my nose. It was weirdly satisfying to see the result! It does leave some minor glue residue behind but thankfully that was easy enough to wipe off. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase since regular chemical exfoliation will likely have the same result but I might keep it in mind for the future when my skin is feeling particularly gross and my nose needs a deep clean.

Clean nose
I used these nose strips years ago and wasn’t impressed with them so I was really looking forward to trying this out.
They come in a pack of 6 so very convenient and cheap.
To use it I washed my face thoroughly so nay traces of moisturizer are removed then wet my nose, dry my fingers then take the shiney sticker off the strip and put the shiney side on the wet nose.
Then I wet the strip from the top so it stuck properly to the nose otherwise it won’t work.
I waited around 15 minutes before the strip was dry like paper mache then I took the strip off slowly.
The end results was shiney nose and yucky looking strip, never knew I needed it so much but my nose still looks great, I think I will be using it fortnightly.
Overall its a great, easy to use product to get rid of blackheads at home.

Ripper Stripper for blackheads
I have not used these for YEARS! They have been around forever just about and I can see why.
Becoming reacquainted with these black head destroyers for the first time in many many years has me wondering why I ever stopped using them. The instructions are simple. Wash your face, make sure your nose is wet - very wet is best - then apply the strip and wait 10-15mins. The strip dries like plaster of Paris. Trust me, I do not find this comfortable at all. When you start to peel it off every tiny little bit of facial fuzz will come with it. You don’t know how much peach fuzz you have on your nose until you start pulling this baby off.
Whilst this part is unpleasant then end result is grimly satisfying. Seeing the grot literally pulled from your pores, sitting on that little plaster strip, along with my peach fuzz and a few tears, makes me want to do it again and again until the grot can no longer accumulate.
Seriously it’s one of those hurts so good type products. My nose looks so much cleaner it’s a bit shameful really that I now feel a little embarrassed that my nose looked so rough to begin with.

Love the results
I have always loved pore strips. They're a guilt pleasure of mine and they actually work. Due to all of the mask wearing lately the skin on my nose has become congested and whilst I do not have many blackheads I do have very visible clogged pores.
I used these after I exfoliated and as soon as I got out of the shower so my pores were open and my skin was still wet. I applied the strip and smoothed it down carefully. I waited about 15 or 20 minutes before slowly pulling the strip off. Satisfaction evwrytime. Mu pores were quickly cleared of any muck that was trapped and then I applied some salicylic acid for extra cleansing.
My only question I have is why some of the pore strip's had silly names on them like 'kissie' and 'bubbles' or something similar to that. It seemed a bit unnecessary and I was left wondering what the difference between the different names were.
Anyway, a great product otherwise. Always a treat!

gross but oh-so-satisfying!
These strips just work and although a little gross, they are very satisfying!
Product comes boxed with a how to use guide on the back. Inside the strips are individually packaged in foil pouches. They are made Japan.
Please take the time to read the side panel of the boxed labelled "Cautions" as it contains a list of reasons you should not use them and what do if you can't remove them painlessly.
Provided you are a suitable candidate and followed the instructions they work, and work well for removing build up in the pores. Basically they are strips of dry glue with a fabric backing. You apply the shiny "glue" side to your nose, wet with a little warm water and wait for it to harden and dry then gently peel off. If you can't do it or find it's too painful you can soak the fabric side in water again and it will slide off easily.
A tip I would give is to place a warm washcloth over the area for about 5 minutes before you apply the strip as it seems to really increase the amount of "gunk" it pulls out.

Blackheads be Gone!
I remember using these Pore Strips what feels like eons ago and kind of forgot just how helpful they are. I'm a Mum in for mid 40's and I thought this would be a product that I might have to hand down to the daughter but that's actually wishful thinking. Turns out my skin likes to react against me by cracking a teenage tanty and has started producing blackheads and pimples in my T-zone more than ever before. So I have to say I'm pretty delighted that these came along in this trial when they did.
Each strip in this 6 strip box comes individually packaged in a foiled packet. After cleansing my face I opened the packet and pulled out the pore strip and maneuvered it slightly at the slits so it would cover my nose adequately. Then I thoroughly wet down my nose area as this is what helps the pore strip to adhere to your skin. I dried my hands and pulled the strip off the liner and I placed the pore strip on my nose and wet the top area of the strip to make sure it was smoothed over my nose perfectly. I left it to sit for approximately 15 minutes when the strip was dry again. I then pulled gently on both sides bringing the strip back towards the bridge of my nose taking it off. The rest is basically a bit gross but I think you'll know what you're going to be looking at there. Afterward, my nose skin was almost blackhead free which was awesome. You're never too old for a pore strip.

blackhead remover for the nose
I've always had large pores on my nose and often would get a fair amount of blackheads on them.
I have tried various topical treatments, from washes, creams, acids etc and although the most effective AHA based products helped to reduce the amount of blackheads i have, they are ever present on my face. Extraction is the only method that had truly helped me remove these pesky dark spots in my pores and I usually do this after a longer hot shower (ie, after washing my hair) as my skin has softened enough and the blackhead are more easily come out.
Manual extraction can be quite risky as too much pressure and your fingernails are likely to cause damage to the skin, making the situation worse. I've found what helps is the use of the pore strips applied across the nose after my skin are warm and moist.
I pop one of these strips on and leave leave it to dry for 20 mins (sometime longer if I'm distracted doing something else) and when the strip has dried and hardened, I peel it off from the edge using strong but steady grip. The amount of blackhead comeing out varies and I find the 'riper' blackheads come out more easily whilst the 'unripen' or blackheads that are still forming and not quite mature yet won't come out and need some manual extraction assistance to gently pry them out.
My nose feels very clean and sometimes slightly raw from the extraction so I always sooth it was a gentle mosituriser to calm the sensitive skin down and the next day and my skin is back to normal overnight.
The pore strips are not a solution and won't make the blackheads go away, but they are an effective aid to help reduce the amount on you nose at any given time and I find that I use the pore strips once a week at most as more often that that, the skin on my nose starts to get too raw and don't have enough time to recover from the extraction.

I found these strips really easy to use. The instructions were clear. You wet your nose and stick the strips on your nose. Wait for ten minutes until it is parch dry like a paper mache and then peel off. I found I had to wait a bit longer than 10 minutes.
When dry , my teenage son did find it hurt him when he stripped it off. I found it ok, and it did not hurt me.
When you strip it off , thats where you will see the results. The blackheads and whiteheads come off easily and you can see them on the strips.
I did find that because the strips were white in colour it was a bit hard to see what it has pulled off. Would have been good if the strips were black in colour.
Overall it is a great staple product too have. My teenage boy has claimed my box and said he loves how smooth his nose gets after use.

Deep cleansing
Thank you Beautyheaven for inviting me to trial these products as part of the Best In Beauty 2012 Awards. I can recall using these many years ago as a teenager, and also on my husband, who as a tradesman would get very dirty, and I was always amazed at the dirt and junk they removed! Clear instructions are included in the package, and they are best used weekly to keep your skin clear of deep down dirt, rubbish and oil that can cause blackheads. Presented in a box of 6 strips, press the strip onto your nose area, leave for 10-15 minutes until it dries, and then peel off slowly. You’ll be absolutely amazed at the junk and rubbish it removes! It’s actually very satisfying! I’ve always had pretty good skin, and blackheads have never really been a problem for me, but I find that these keep my husbands skin completely clear of blackheads. I’m not so sure they would be suitable for those with sensitive skin though.

Face recovery
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial this product via Beauty heaven best in beauty box.
I have always wanted to try such strips, yet always chickened out purchasing these at priceline.
I know it is weird, yet i found it relatively easy and satisfying to use. Putting the product on my nose, it sat well, it did not move and i did not find any bubble while waiting for it to dry to remove.
Have to say, looking after removing this from my nose, i was shocked! You would never have thought that you have that kind of build up on your nose. Yet thinking now with wearing masks what your nose goes through, i can see how.
I will be definitely be purchasing these products again. As that Victoria is currently in extended lock down, it is a way i can look after my face at least until i can get back to the beautician.

I didn't see any results
I have combination skin with a very oily T-Zone and quite a lot of large pores on my nose, so I was very excited to use these strips to see if they can help me in my ongoing battle with blackheads on my nose.
Deep Cleansing Pore Strips come in small strips individually wrapped.
To use I cleansed my skin and splashed some water on my nose, then I removed the backing strip and stuck the adhesive part on my nose, and smoothed the strip on to make sure it covered the pores on my nose.
After 10 minutes I removed the strip and it may be cleared one or two clogged pores, well that's what I could see on the strip, but I also guess it would remove some dead skin cells.
After using the strips and looking close up at my nose I was quite disappointed, the blackheads were still there.
I have used these a few times and the same result, so I don't think they are suited for me
