What is Silicol Gel?
Silicolgel is an oral gel containing colloidal silicic acid for the treatment of upper gastrointestinal disorders. When taken by itself or with water, Silicol®Gel forms a protective and soothing coating over the lining of the stomach and intestines. It relieves heartburn, reflux and vomiting as well as relieving medically diagnosed IBS symptoms such as nausea, gas, abdominal pain, bowel discomfortand diarrhoea.
How does Silicol Gel Work?
- SilicolGel physically absorbs or binds to most irritants and toxins, rendering them harmless so that they can be removed and passed through the body naturally
- Can also reduce excess acidity and bind to gases which can reduce gassiness
- Also alleviates IBS symptoms in the gastrointestinal tract that may occur due to a change in diet during travel or on holiday

Who can use Silicol Gel?
Silicol Gel is suitable for adults and children over 12
Instructions for use
Shake bottle well before every use.
Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of Silicol®Gel 3 times daily, an hour before meals.
Take Silicol Gel with a gap of at least 1 hour before or after the intake of medicines
Silicol Gel can be taken either undiluted or diluted with water.
If initial symptoms worsen or have not reduced after three days, consult a doctor.
Treatment can continue for up to 4 weeks as required.
With diarrhoea, it is necessary to replace lost fluids.
3.5 g Silicon dioxide in 100 mL Silicol®Gel.
Preservatives: Sorbic acid, Sodium benzoate.
- Silicol Gel should be taken with a gap of at least 1 hour before or after the intake of medicines, otherwise their effect could be impaired.
- Do not use Silicol Gel in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
- Keep out of reach of children.
