Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never gonna give you up Please bring back the old Colgate Floss that was ribbony smooth & flawlessly cleaned inbetween my teeth! I’ve bought three different Colgate flosses the last few weeks wondering if it was me… or you! Thankfully I found an old 2023 batch hidden away in my cupboard, the last of its kind - please help us Colgate, you were the best!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shredded fibres stuck in teeth after using! Colgate, it’s hard to imagine that this product was tested before being released to market. The floss shreds as I’m using it, leaving fibres stuck in my teeth. It’s gone straight in the rubbish bin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Rubbish - I hate this new product it splits and rips on the first use and doesn’t do at all what it is supposed to. Bring back the old version PLEASE!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Colgate what have you done? The new mint waxed floss is horrible. It gets stuck between the molars. It nearly ripped out a crown of mine. Colgate, please go back to the original floss. It was the best on the market. Now it is the worst. I have had to throw out two 100m rolls. It is that bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This new iteration is inferior in every way. Bought Colgate floss exclusively for years, but the redesigned floss is terrible. Difficult to floss between moderately packed teeth and begins to fray after every second tooth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed from best to a really poor product We’ve used this product for years but the recent changes to the product made it the worst floss on the market. It disintegrates, can’t easily get it between teeth, it is like trying to floss with cotton sewing thread with a wax layer. Stopped using it and found a cheaper yet superior alternative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from broken threads in my teeth Just shocking. Terrible new product. So disappointing from a brand so big.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to the job We’ve been using Total floss every day for years now and really can’t understand why Colgate would replace a totally (!!) satisfactory product with something that is so obviously not up to the job. The new version is a disaster: won’t fit between most of my teeth, floss frays and is impossible to grip when wet - it just slides around and cuts into the gums leaving a waxy residue between my teeth that’s hard to remove. Couldn’t get a refund so had no option but to chuck it out, which absolutely goes against the grain. A very expensive stuff-up for Colgate I’d imagine. Where on earth was quality control? Suppose they were trying to cut costs! Even if Colgate can get their act together, most of us regulars will have found an alternative floss by now …
