Rated 5 out of 5 by jupiter from Not just for Eczema Sufferers This product used to be called 'QV Intensive with Ceramides Light Moisturising Cream' and the formula hasn't changed, just the product name and label that targets eczema. It comes in a 350ml and a 1L bottle. It is manufactured by Ego Pharmaceuticals in Australia and I trust them for making high quality and reliable products. The formula contains glycerin, niacinamide, lactic acid and two types of ceramides and it is fragrance-free, which makes it excellent for dry, irritated or sensitive skin. The ingredients skin barrier health and prevents dryness. Not many bulk-size moisturiers with ceramides have niacinamide so this a selling point for me. My husband and I both use this at home even though neither of us have eczema as such. I have combination skin prone to dehydration and my husband has dry and sensitive skin and is often itchy. The cream is reasonably light and absorbs nicely on our faces - it does stay slightly sticky on me so I prefer it at night. Those with normal to dry skin are likely to find it just right. I find it very soothing and it reduces itching when I have irritated skin. My husband uses this as his day and night moisturiser and it helps relieve dryness and itchiness. He has noticed a slight tingling when applying this after shaving, but it does go away. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a safe and hydrating moisturiser for dry or sensitive skin. Not only does it hydrated, it also strengthens the skin barrier with niacinamide and ceramides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ellyloves from QV’s intensive light moisturising lotion I trust QV because they always make high quality products that suit our skin. This lotion is really moisturising, despite the name being light, it does a great job at hydrating my skin for 24 hours, my skin doesn’t feel uncomfortable and itchy from these cold and windy winter days and nights. The pump on the product also works really well, it’s very efficient.

I had been using (A major American Dermatologist brand) PM Lotion which was $17.40 for a small tube with only 50ml of product and when I compared the ingredients list to the PM Lotion I was thrilled to find that the ingredients are similar and possibly even better for 350ml of product at $26! Thats 4 times more product for just over $6 more. In the ingredients there is Niacinamide, 2 x Ceramides, Sodium PCA (or NMF, Natural Moisturising Factor), Glycerin and Lactic acid and there is a decent amount of each of these. There are also ingredients that prevent TEWL or Trans Epidermal Water Loss. This product is marketed as a body lotion for Eczema and Psoriasis sufferers which I sure it would work well for but the above mentioned ingredients are also very effective for the purpose of Anti-Ageing. I have been using this on my face, neck, chest and arms for 3 months and LOVING it. With 350ml this pump pack will last me about 9 months easy! My skin is slightly oily on the T-zone but can be very dehydrated on the cheeks & forehead, especially in winter but this little beauty prevents dry skin beautifully. I use a prescription Retinoid (for anti-ageing and Rosacea) and this over the top prevents irritation and dryness. I love it to use at night time and under my QV Day cream with 30+ sunscreen in winter. At Night time on alternate nights when I am not using the Retinoid I use a popular brand of Glycolic Product 'Smoothing Lotion 10% AHA' over the top of my favourite B vitamin serums from The Ordinary. These serums plus a Vitamin C serum for the day time are enough actives to keep wrinkles at bay. I just turned 50 years old and I still have no real wrinkles and people often mistake my for late 30's.

While I don't have eczema prone skin -as marketed towards -as soon as I saw that this had niacinamide, ceramides 1&3, safflower seed oil & lactic acid I was initially attracted to this as these ingredients are beneficial for the skin. Lightweight in texture this creamy white lotion dispenses easily from the pump.The fragrance free lotion is incredibly easy to spread onto the skin & within a few seconds it is completely absorbed- no sticky or greasy feeling. I feel like this moisturiser is getting straight into my skin. It's easy to get dressed straight after. It feels comfortable to wear & feels like my skin is protected from the external environment elements with the ceremides moisturising & keeping extra vital moisture in. I apply once every second day & the moisture feeling lasts on my skin. Perfect to use after a shower! I suffer from dry skin on my body & I'm always looking for good ingredients for my body products as well-this product delivers. Using this for a month I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. It feels softer, smoother & much more moisturised. My problem areas - my arms & neck are not as rougher, texture is more even & fine lines have disappeared. My skin looks so much better! My legs are not as rough or textured too! They feel smooth. Even when I haven't used this my skin is really well nourished from using. So I believe this has long term effects too. I highly recommend this product. With skin proven ingredients, I will continue to use this & am sure long term this will continue to deliver. It's enough moisture & protection for winter as well as being lightweight enough for summer. I will repurchase! Dermatologically, paediatrician and opthalmologically tested.
