Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and brilliant [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this during my time with my premi baby at the hospital. This product is bulky however is very simple to use with multiple settings. Strengths go from very slow and soft to fast and harder. Chose your strength choose your setting. This product is stronger than my home electric pump so would get out more milk in a quicker time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Medela Symphony Double Electric Breast Pump during my stay at the hospital. It is a great pump. It allows you to adjust the strength and help with milk flow. I ended hiring one for about 2 weeks. It is quite bulky and difficult to move around. It also needs to be plugged in when in use which also limits movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent but bulky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this pump during the hospital stay when my baby was sick. It was easy to set up and only took 10 minutes from set up to finish pumping. Function easily adjustable. The only downsides are the size of it being big and for some reason the pump keeps swivelling away from me due to the location of the power point (not a big issue though).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Electric pump! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used an electric breast pump before. This is a fantastic machine! I used this breast pumped when my daughter was in NICU machine is really easy to use extremely straight forward. The Breast pump is very comfortable and easy to place on the nipple. It is easy to assemble and disassemble for a clean. I definitely would recommend this. The only negative is how heavy and chunky it is and you would need to have it plugged into the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hospital-grade pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Medela hospital grade breast pump is so effective and powerful. It was provided for our use in the hospital and we rented it to take home. I found it a lot more efficient and effective than our store bought personal pumps. However, it is bulky and not portable. I would highly recommend renting this breast pump from your hospital if you are struggling to build and maintain a good milk supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t know where I’d be without it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this pump in hospital and then continued to hire it for an addition 2-3 months afterwards and i am so grateful that that was a possibility. After an emergency c-section at 34 weeks, then a 30 hr ICU stay for me while bubs went to a different hospital, it’s safe to say that I may not have had a breastfeeding journey if it wasn’t for this pump. Not only did it help jump-start my supply, my LO’s early arrival meant we had to bottle feed for the first 3 months every 3 hours and because of this pump I was able to exclusively give her breastmilk. I spent a lot of time on the pump! (Ps, look at investing in a pumping bra if you are in a similar situation - life saver). Positives - Quicker/more powerful than your average at home pump Double pumping ability Can be used both in regular pumping mode or the mode that stimulates your supply. Negatives - The cost of buying the bits to use it if you aren’t planning on using it for long, can be expensive. Overall I could have bought an at-home pump for what I paid for the hire but I have no doubt that this was the best thing for the job for me and when you have a newborn, don’t you just want to use what is best and easiest?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the symphony whilst my little one was in hospital with hand foot and mouth disease, she was refusing to feed so I had to express and syringe feed. As soon as we went home I hired one from our local chemist. The suction on this pump far exceeds any other I have used and the one I had already had at home. I was able to pump more milk than ever previously. It’s definitely not suitable to transport around however excellent for the volume of milk it assists in getting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breast pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used one for the first time this morning as my son is currently in the hospital and I’m unable to breastfeed him and when I used it I was happy with how easy it was to use and how much I was able to get It was very comfortable as well which I loved

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feed my two babies and comfort myself [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I did my first birth, the hopistal recommended me this one, it did help me on my first journey of being mom. Last year, I hired it beforehand and used it instantly after hospital! The comfort and convenience come back! Choose it! Use it! Feel it!You will not regret!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for first time mum's! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this pump with all 4 children while I was in hospital for a long period of time, and it wasnt until my last two children that I learnt you can rent them and now also purchase them! They are a bit pricey to buy outright for something you may only use for a few months, but if you decide to have more than one child then it's great, otherwise leasing it is such a great option, and you have your own parts so it's safe, sterile and easy to use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fuss free [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The medela symphony pump was good but it wasn't the best one I had tried. I didn't like the hospital ones as they were too bulky and of course you'd need to be there to use it. The medela one was more convenient but I liked their swing maxi pump more as it was more portable and efficient for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hospital Pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the beginning of my breastfeeding journey, I used the medela symphony double breast pump (first and only pump used). It is 'hospital grade' pump, and helped with bringing in my milk. I also hired this breast pump from a local chemist. The only downside is that i felt the suction to the breast wasnt strong enough

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this pump when my daughter was a few days old and then just recently when she was admitted into hospital for observations. When I first used the pump it was to encourage my milk supply to come in while we were in hospital. I found the initiate cycle very gentle on my sore breasts. The second time I used it was just recently in hospital where I have a very good milk supply. Comparing it to my hospital grade pump at home, I found the suction level on the Medela pump quite weak and it took longer to express my milk. I do like that it runs the MAINTAIN program itself and it starts with a gentle let down mode before increasing the suction. The pump itself is easy to operate and set up with the accessories (I used disposable accessories due to being in hospital.) You can easily adjust the suction by turning the dial. It is quiet when running, as I was able to pump right next to my daughter's hospital cot without her waking.
