Directions For Use

FOR BEST RESULTS BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Please read all of the directions and warning on the pack carefully before use. • Perform a patch test on a small part of the area you wish to wax • If skin appears normal after 24 hours, proceed with the full treatment • The skin to be treated must be clean and dry. Avoid using moisturisers the day before you use the wax strips • Hair to be removed should be at least 2mm long and no longer than 1cm. Trim the hair before waxing if necessary • It is important to practice the technique on less sensitive areas like the arms and legs before using on the face and sensitive areas

Step1: Starting at the corners, slowly separate the strips, taking care that the wax contents are spread out uniformly. You now have 2 strips ready to use. Use one at a time.

Step 2: Apply to the area to be waxed, smoothing down over the hair in the direction of the hair growth. Pres down hard on the strip to ensure that the wax is gripping all the hairs.

Step 3: Immediately hold skin taut, and quickly zip the strip back against the direction of hair growth. By removing the strip immediately after application, any temporary irritation or redness will be minimised. When removing the strip, make sure to keep it close to the skin. Do NOT pull the strip in an upward motion.

TIPS FOR WAXING: 1. Nair was strips are reusable, so repeat steps 2 and 3 until the strips stop gripping. 2. If any wax is left on the skin, use the enclosed aftercare wipes. Alternatively, use baby oil and gently massage until the wax lifts off. 3. Water and soap will not remove the wax residue.

Warnings and Disclaimers

As with any wax treatment, skin may turn slightly pink for some time after hair removal. After all hair has been removed, rinse ski with cool water and pat dry. Do not use the wax strips within 25hr of bathing, swimming, showering or after sunbathing, as the skin is more sensitive at these times. Do not expose newly waxed skin to direct sun for at least 24 hours. Always protect your skin with sunscreen. Do not wax if the skin is broken, sunburnt or irritated or on varicose veins, moles, warts, eczema or damaged skin. Not suitable for people suffering from diabetes or circulatory problems or loose delicate skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not wax the inside of the nose or ears, eyelashes, nipples, perianal or vulva/ genital area. Keep Nair wax strips away from heat. Do not wax the same area more than once. Wait for 48 hours before waxing the same area if the skin is irritated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by perthchick from Rewards Room Purchase I bought these large wax strips with my Beauty Heaven points. I used them as soon as my Rewards Room order arrived. I am not a novice waxer but not an expert, my upper legs hurt after using but that would probably be operator error. I am thankful for the inclusion of the four after care wipes to remove leftover wax. I wish Nair included more in the pack. The 40 strips are large and I will have this pack for 6-9 months. There is no offensive smell as there sometimes is with other wax strips or wax pots.

I used almost the whole packet on my legs which does not seem great value however it is still significantly cheaper than going to the salon. I will be buying another packet as I am new to waxing so perhaps I used more than I should of being a beginner at this. I am not new to waxing but I stopped waxing for a few years so I feel new to the concept again. I like that there is no mess with these wax strips. No mess of heating wax then worrying if you heat for to long. These wax strips you do not need to rub together, they are ready to go. I used each side of the wax strip about twice initially and towards the end I was using each side about 4 times until the wax lost its stick. The initial stripping of the first wax strip off was nerve racking. Towards the end the pain had stopped. I did notice the wax strips grip thicker hair better than the finer hair at the tops of my legs. I was surprised that the wax strips did not cause any irritation which was my main concern. I am very impressed with how smooth my legs feel and it is so much smoother result than shaving. I would highly recommend these if you have thicker hair. I did not find it as effective on the shorter or finer hairs on my legs but overall it was impressive. After completing the wax I had a little wax residue which was easily removed with one of the after care wipes (You get 4 per packet). I will definitely be buying these wax strips again as they left my legs hair free and smooth. Overall great for confidence and feeling good about yourself.
