Fights itchy flaky scalpNeutrogena T/Gel Shampoo is effective as a therapeutic treatment to help control the scalp itching and flaking symptomatic of scalp psoriasis, eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis and even common dandruff. Clear, amber T/Gel is pleasant to use and gentle to your hair. T/Gel is uniquely formulated to have a pleasant fragrance, the rich lather helps treat itchy, flaky scalp, and leaves hair clean, soft and manageable.

- Use in adults and children above 2 years of age.
- Use for the control of itching and flaking associated with dandruff, psoriasis, eczema and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
- Wet hair thoroughly.
- Massage shampoo into your scalp.
- Lather, leaving on your hair and scalp for several minutes. Rinse and repeat.
Neutar Solubilised Coal Tar Extract 2% (equivalent to 0.5% w/v Coal Tar) in a mild shampoo base. Contains as preservatives: Diazolidinyl Urea 0.10% w/v, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.04% w/v, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.01% w/v.
Do not use
- In children under 2 years of age unless under the direction and supervision of a doctor
- On acutely inflamed or broken skin

- if you are using this product with other forms of psoriasis therapy such as UV radiation or prescription medicines
- If you have a condition that covers a large area of the body
- Stop use if irritation occurs.

- In rare instances discolouration of grey, blonde, bleached or tinted hair may occur

Absolute Lifesaver
I bought this a few months ago alongside the T/Gel Anti-Dandruff Conditioner and it has made my scalp the clearest its ever been. For months I have really been conscious and annoyed with how itchy, red and bumpy my scalp was and every time I would itch it, it would always bleed and become worse. I tried every single product that was for anti-dandruff and those didn't work at all for me. But using this product has been absolutely amazing and shows results really quickly (at least for me).

Great product
I was suffering from psoriasis and my doctor recommended T gel for my scalp to reduce the flakes. So, I’ve brought it and tried within few weeks it’s started working and my condition has now became normal. So, thanks to this product.

Excellent product
Back in March I caught the Covid-19 virus and by June, like many others, I was suffering from massive hair loss as in falling out in clumps and clogging the drain. My psoriasis also returned but it had never previously caused hair loss. I then discovered that the hair loss is prevalent in a great many people who have had the virus. Ditto for flare-ups of psoriasis. So at the beginning of July I bought the T/Gel shampoo which I used successfully many years ago to control my psoriasis. All I can say is thank god it worked both for the psoriasis and the hair loss! It's been 5 weeks now and the horrid hair loss gradually lessened until there is barely any fallout at all, not even a normal amount (this morning I couldn't find any hair in the drain at all). The psoriasis is 99% gone with just a trace of itchiness left. If the hair loss had continued I would most definitely have had bald patches by now.
So all I can say is thank you for making an excellent product and for saving my hair. :)

This is a miracle worker
Cannot thank you enough TGel! This has completely cleared away my itchy dry scalp. For years, it has gone between red and angry at its worst, and pink at its best. I have tried many products with varying degrees of success. Decided to try TGel and OMG this product is amazing. I would thoroughly recommend it. My scalp is no longer itchy, no longer dry and there is not a hint of discolouration. The skin is completely clear.

Great shampoo
I try everything for my scalp but nothing was working for me, then t gel came out I saw it on the shelves in the supermarket I thought to buy it and try it see how go with the shampoo , it was fantastic for the first time I haven’t scratch my scalp it was the best thing that I bought for myself , I still use it, i haven’t changed shampoo’s for a long time. Fantastic for scalp conditions
This product is fantastic for various scalp conditions. After swimming in chlorine my daughter gets itchy scalp - this product is the only one that I've found that fixes that. It is also used by other family members to treat dandruff and other forms of scalp irritation. It does have a slight tar smell when you are using it in the shower but once your hair is dry the smell goes. Its not the cheapest product of its kind but in my experience it is the best.

Best anti dandruff shampoo ever!
I've had problems with dandruff for more than 5 years and I've tried many many commercial brand anti-dandruff shampoos and nothing have seemed to work, until this! I always dread winter because due to the dryness of the weather, my dandruff always comes out to play but thanks to Neutrogena T/Gel, I was dandruff-free just after only 1 month use. Thank you for a wonderful product and I feel like I have made a life-long friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During Summer i often get "itchy scalp' due to the heat and perspiration...I have tried many other brands but they give only temporary relief. ...I have now tried the Neutrogena T/Gel and have not had any symptons for the most part of this week....It has a very pleasant fragrance and needs only a small amount to cover the scalp . It does not dry out the hair at all but leaves it soft and shiny with that very pleasant fragrance....I am impressed with this product and will continue to use it when necessary.

Best thing ever!
I used to get a very dry, flaky and itchy scalp. It became worse and worse to the point I tried every common product I could find. T-Gel was my last ditch attempt at relief before seeing a doctor. As it turns out a doctor was not required.
