It gives the skin a deep clean and leaves the skin soft and smooth. It contains baking soda. Its good for combination skin types. It comes in an easy to use bottle.

This blue gel cleanser is a gentle exfoliant, with tiny beads of baking soda & a freshwater scent. Unfortunately, the beads mean I can't use it with my silicon Dermasonic+ Cleansing Device. My skin feels really clean & I haven't had any zits in the time I've been using this cleanser. The pump dispenses too much product - a little goes a long way! I use about half a pump & it lathers up enough to wash my face, neck & décolletage. WOULD I PURCHASE? No. At 54, my once very oily skin is not as oily as it once was. I find this cleanser just a teensy bit drying. I'd still recommend it, though, especially if you're blemish-prone (like me). The salicylic acid helps prevent pimples. Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Works well, but isn't for everyone. I got this cleanser as a sample with my Beautorium haul recently. I was excited to try it - I have combination skin (which is what the product says it's made for) but normally I double cleanse with an oil cleanser and then a gentle foaming cleanser. This cleanser doesn't really fit in either category so I've been using it on its own. I kind of found the concept of "baking soda cleanser" a little unappealing - it sounds kind of harsh and not very 'luxurious' like skincare products normally try to seem and feel like. I was a little disappointed that unfortunately the product itself did not change that preconception; it actually smells like baking soda, and there are beads in it which kind of plays into the idea that baking soda is an aggressive/hash ingredient (that I also use to clean my house). That said - the cleanser did leave my skin feeling soft and smooth; my face felt clean without feeling stripped. I don't know if choosing not to add a scent was a conscious choice on Biore's part for the product to be more natural - but that is something I would really like to see to make the product more appealing to use. I'll be using this cleanser in the morning and I'll definitely be finishing the product. I would personally not recommend using this for cleansing at night - my night time face cleanse is when I massage my skin for 60 seconds with cleanser, and I think especially with the beads this product just isn't suitable for that. However it's a great thorough but gentle cleanse for the morning time. I've given the product 3 stars because it is good and it is worth a shot, but the fact that it's not very flexible for use (because it does lean towards the harsher side of cleansers) and it doesn't smell very appealing to me personally ends up costing the 2 stars I would add for a great skincare experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Miss19 from Keeps my skin clean The Biore balancing pore cleanser is just perfect for my oily and acne prone skin. It contains baking soda along with blue agave to cleanse my skin without drying it out. You only need a small pump of the product as it foams up really nicely so a little goes a long way. It has a nice scent as well and I love that when I wash it off my face feels so clean and refreshed. I did not notice any different to my pores but my skin wasn't shiny and it helped to balance out my skin. I love the pale blue colour and the pump makes it easy to use too. I also used it to help take my makeup off and it did a very good job. I would recommend this for those who have normal to oily skin as well as those who have acne and want a face wash that will keep their face clean and oil free without drying it out.

The cleanser comes in a pump action bottle. It did not work well in my Panasonic Foaming Cleanser tool, I will have to use the cleanser on it's own. Cool blue colour.
