Rated 4 out of 5 by Sioux from Aloe Vera facial wipes The Swisspers Eco Aloe Vera facial wipes come in distinctive purple and green branded packaging. The packet is a plastic envelope with a hard-plastic lid in the centre. The wipes are kept fresh with a re-stickable seal. The packet contains 25 wipes. On the packet they claim to be “moist, soft & strong” and to remove waterproof makeup. The wipes are biodegradable because they are made from cotton and renewable plant fibres. The wipes themselves are white, and they are about the size of the average tissue. Although they have a light perfume scent, they do not smell especially strong. They are very soft and they are infused with a reasonable amount of makeup remover. I found that one wipe was more than enough to remove that day’s makeup from my face. They did also remove waterproof makeup, as promised, such as black eyeliner and matte lipstick. The makeup came away easily without me having to do any excessive rubbing. Afterwards my skin felt very soft and moisturised. I have sensitive skin and these wipes did not irritate my skin at all after repeated uses. Altogether these are very gentle and reasonably priced moisturising wipes that are a great eco option if you prefer to use wipes to remove your makeup.

As the name suggests, they are face wipes, not makeup wipes, and although they do remove some makeup, I would not recommend them for removing your makeup entirely. great to freshen up your skin or use before or after your cleanser in my opinion! Also really like the plastic clip closure as it stops the wipes from drying out. A lot of thought was put into this product. In saying that, I do wish they had just a touch more moisturiser in them.

I have avoided wipes because of the damage they do to the environment so I was very happy to see these are planet friendly. The packaging makes it easy to remove one wipe at a time and also ensures the wipes are kept moist and hygienic as the package seals properly. The wipes are a nice size and do a great job removing my makeup without any irritation even when taking off mascara. The wipes are refreshing and don't dry out my skin, I have used them just to freshen up after exercise and after gardening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Miss19 from Environmentally friendly wipes I really like the idea of biodegradable wipes because it's environmentally friendly and I don't feel as guilty about using them. This pack contains 25 wipes and it has a lid that you can close to keep the wipes fresh. The wipes are decent sized but I just don't like that they aren't moist enough and are more on the dry side which I didn't like. I prefer my face wipes to be moist so it can effectively remove all of my makeup or else there is no point in using it. On their own they were ok at removing makeup but I had to add some of my own micellar water on it. Apart from that I would say they are good and come in handy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Margaret759 from A bit dry I am a very big fan of these types of facial wipes but unfortunately I found these ones were a little too dry for my skin, I had to dampen them with tap water first in order to use them. If I didn't dampen them first, they were really uncomfortable to use. I do love that the wipes are biodegradable, which is what led me to purchase them in the first place. There was no fragrance which is good and the snap-lock fastener is great. The wipes just need to be a little more moist so that they don't drag on the skin. Otherwise, a really great idea and I'm so glad we are moving towards more eco-friendly disposable options.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Okatko from Aloe Vera Makeup remover wipes I ordered the Swisspers Earth Kind Eco Aloe Vera Biodegradable facial wipes from the April 2021 Rewards Room (along with the Sensitive skin version - but that's another review) on impulse as I don't normally purchase make-up remover wipes, I usually use micellar water. These wipes come in a plastic bag pack of 25, with a flip top lid. They are about the size of a tissue and work well to remove my makeup at the end of the day and work especially well on my mascara and eyeliner. The wipes are strong but soft and feel gentle against my skin. They are probably moist enough but I prefer something a little wetter. They are stronger smelling than the sensitive skin wipes. I'm not sure whether that's from the Aloe Vera or the parfum that is included in the list of ingredients. My skin does not feel tight or dry. I always follow up with a second, rinse-off cleanse. They may be biodegradable but they still need to be disposed of sensibly and are not meant to be flushed down the toilet. They are a great convenient way to remove make up but I wouldn't purchase these again. Especially in the Aloe Vera range.
