Avène Cleanance Comedomed is a highly concentrated, fact-acting formula providing lon-lasting clinical benefits, and has a targeted dual action:

Made my face peel, and dry.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product alongside with the Cleanance Cleansing gel for oily, and blemish-prone skin, first time I used it the same night I got it, worked fine it wasn't rough or heavy, etc. I used it again the next morning, and same results. I used it again that night and not ever 10 minutes later my skin started peeling I felt my forehead and there were multiple dry spots all across, aswell as my nose. I read the ingredient list and was aware there was isopropyl alcohol in it, but continued to use it after seeing such amazing reviews. I searched for a little longer and at the bottom I found all the bad reviews having the same problem as me. I get that different people have different skin types, but I couldn't recommend this or the cleansing gel to anybody. And by the way that smell is horrible smells like straight rubbing alcohol from the hospital.

Not a fit for me[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t find that this product made much of a difference to Skin, in fact it made it incredibly red and irritated.
Not to say it wouldn’t work for someone else but that’s just how it has worked for me.
I didn’t really like the smell or the texture either.
The packaging was easy to use.

Not a huge fan[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product as my skin is an area I'm trying to improve. However, this product didn't suit me. With it being winter my skin needs extra hydration and this product dried it out too much that I ended up getting a dry patch under my eye. I feel that this was from the alcohol that was used in it and made it smell bad. I wish I was provided with an ingredients list prior to trialling the product. It would have allowed me to make an informed decision regard what products I am happy with putting on my skin.

Blackhead winner!!![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for about 2 and a half weeks now. I have noticed a significant reduction in how many blemishes and blackheads I've been getting.
My skin feels quite hydrated after apply this moisturizer. The texture of the moisturizer is smoothe when you put it on your skin and dries quite quickly.
I would highly recommend this product for people that have oily/blemish proned skin. The only thing I disliked about the moisturizer is the chemical smell. If the smell could be changed and impressed, I would make this rating a 5 out of 5.

Reduces appearance of acne[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes in a simple pump packaging that makes it easy (and hygienic!) to use. It has the consistency of a gel and sinks into the skin quite quickly. I only needed to use a small amount on my cheeks/jawline so this will last quite a while.
While it did reduce the appearance of acne, and has prevented any further outbreaks, I will note that it has a very strong and rather unpleasant chemical smell. It even notes this on the packaging - "The product's odor is related to its innovative ingredient and will quickly disappear". While it did eventually disappear I did find it a bit overpowering at first.
I also noticed it had a bit of a drying effect on my skin, though this was helped by using some moisturiser after application.
Overall, would recommend for those with acne issues, but be warned of the strong smell!

Holds back shine and mattifies skin[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oily skin and this product worked well to reduce the amount of shine and left my skin with a matte finish. The product did reduce the appearance of blemishes somewhat. I'll be buying this product again.

Very happy with this product![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always thought that pimples would be left in my teen years but I was soooo very wrong lol. My skin is very temperamental and I struggle constantly with break outs! I will break out from trying new skin care and make up. I also struggle with hormonal breakouts each month. Not only did this product not make me break out but I also noticed an improvement on my “normal” break outs.
Originally when I first received this product I was a little hesitant to just lather all over my face straight away as it has quite a strong chemical like smell. Often products with a strong scent or harsh products can either make me break out badly or get a rash. I decided to do a spot test on the side of my neck for the first night and left until the next morning. Thankfully I had no reaction and continued with the trial.
Great packaging, very easy to disburse just the right amount of product. The product spreads really easily. I found that 1 and a half pumps was more than enough. I was using on my neck as I am lucky enough to get pimples there as well! -.-“.I used at night before applying my normal moisturizer, after applying my skin felt clean, not tight or sticky.
Overall I noticed an improvement in my skin. My existing pimples healed and I did not notice many new pimples pop up. When they did they weren't as angry and I feel like they healed a little quicker.
As I mentioned the only “down side” was the strong smell. However, it dissipates quite quickly once applied to the skin and is not noticeable when you are wearing it. As this product works so well I am more than happy to deal with the scent.
I will certainly be purchasing this again!

Great non-drying acne treatment[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the short amount of time I’ve been using this, I’ve definitely seen a slight difference, active acne has lessened, scarring from previous acne have lightened. The one thing I really love the most, unlike most acne treatments this does not dry out the skin at all. Will definitely recommend to my friends!
