Directions For Use

Shake well before use.
Apply liberally and evenly to all unprotected areas 15 to 20 minutes before exposure to the sun. You need at least one teaspoon per limb, one for the front of the body, one for the back and one for the head.
Re-apply every 2 hours or more often when sweating and after swimming, exercise or towel drying. Use a hat, protective clothing and sunglasses.

Homosalate 10% w/w, Octocrylene 8% W/W, Octyl Salicylate 5% w/w, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane 3% w/w Preservatives: Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Hydroxyacetophenone.

It's not extremely oily like many other spf 50 products, and very moisturizing. It rubs into the skin quite well without leaving a white cast. I also appreciate the pump function as opposed to squeeze bottle which can get messy and ugly. It works well as a top up throughout the day. This often goes on sale at supermarkets or Priceline so you can get this for a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this product to everyone for daily use or on the go.

The pump dispenser makes it so easy to pump a good amount of lotion without making a mess. The lotion is white and a nice consistency, more on the runny side, which makes it easy to spread over my face and it absorbs super quickly. Initially there is a bit of shine on my face but after 20 minutes or so the shine is no longer visible and there is no white cast. No scent that I can detect and no skin irritation. I have spent quite a bit of time out in the sun and no sunburn or redness. An excellent product that works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Minh815 from Dewy, moisturising, effective! Now, I consider myself a bit of a sunscreen junkie. I've tried everything under the sun, from the cheapest to most ludicrously expensive. This little bottle of wonder really pleasantly surprised me. It's very hydrating, effective, and great under and over makeup. The texture is creamy (similar to the LRP hydrating sunscreen) without being overtly heavy or greasy. I love that it's reef safe and fragrance-free too! It is quite hydrating - I find it dries down to a slightly 'dewy' look on my dry skin, so oilier skin types may find it a little too creamy for their liking. Unfortunately, this didn't quite pass the 'sting free eyes' test, but it definitely didn't make my eyes burn as badly as some other (more expensive) options I've tried. If you don't have crazy sensitive eyes like mine, this could be a great option for you! It is on the more expensive side of the other bondi sands SPF offerings - it's a great product, but I actually prefer the fragrance free face lotion from the brand in the white tube!

I have a bad run with sunscreen for the face, it's usually to heavy and ends up making my combination skin very oily so there's no chance i'd ever be able to have makeup over the top. I grabbed this bondi sands version when it was on special to try. First of all i love the packaging and how practical it is. The size of the container fits perfectly in a handbag or the glove box so you can always have it with you. The thing i love the most about this product is the fact that it doesn't make my skin oily and it absorbs so quickly. The lightweight formula makes it perfect to layer products on so makeup goes on with ease. The price point is also great.

The Bondi Sands Hydra SPF 50+ Face Lotion has no added artificial fragrance or essential oils to the product but does have a detectable classic sunscreen scent that smells like a day at the beach, this may be undesirable for some people but personally I enjoy it. The packaging is equipped with a pump and dispenses a thin textured lotion. The product doesn't run down my hand when pumped but isn't a thick whipped cream texture - it's somewhere in between. The lotion is easy to rub in and leaves no detectable white cast (I'm quite pale however and can't attest to how this would work on darker skin types than myself). After application (I apply about 5 pumps), the product leaves a slight sheen on the skin and can feel a little tacky and sticky. This feeling does subside after about 20 minutes but doesn't disappear completely. I found makeup applied lovely over this product but I do find I need powder to set it otherwise it slips around. I would recommend this product for dry skin types who aren't prone to sensitivities. Sometimes the product could sting on my skin. I really enjoy the packaging, it's easy to dispense product and I don't have to unscrew a lid or dip my fingers into a jar which can be a bit of a nuisance in the mornings.
