Directions For Use

Section damp hair and apply product to scalp massaging in a circular motion to exfoliate. Continue to section hair and repeat until scalp is covered. Rinse thoroughly and follow with Sukin Natural Balance Shampoo. Use once or twice weekly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Iona718 from Gentle, but effective cleansing Another of the many products I seem to be picking up "just because" and this one by Sukin is definitely a winner. I'd been struggling with a dry, flaky scalp for a while and browsing a number of internet resources had suggested using a scalp exfoliator on a regular basis to cleanse, but also re-hydrate the skin on my scalp. Sukin absolutely delivered here. I have thick, wavy, greying hair with a number of thinning patches and the creamy texture with gentle exfoliating texture was easy to work through my scalp and also to rinse. My scalp felt light and my hair felt like it does after a salon trip- fresh, lush and bouncy! It is really quite amazing. I've also tried mixing it in with my regular shampoo when i'm in a hurry and while it does work better on it's own, the difference was still there. I do still do a double shampoo cleanse afterwards as i'm only working the exfoliating scrub on my scalp- not the rest of my hair. For the first few months or so I used this every week, now, a year later, I probably only use it every 2-4 weeks and my scalp has settled a lot with far less flaking. I would highly recommend anyone needing to refresh their hair and scalp to try this scrub- whether your hair is oily, normal or dry, the formula is gentle and delivers on its promises. Natural ingredients and Australian is also a huge plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adelina633 from Where have you been ill start this by pressing that I don't have severe eczema but it does flare up during the winter months in random parts of my body. Whenever I find that my skin is just on the cusp of becoming really dehydrated this is my go-to to stop it from becoming a more serious issue. Every time with that failed this provides me with an excellent amount of hydration and I'm able to get my skin back on track after one or two uses. This product has definitely been wonderful addition my staple moisturisers. I think this product has a lot to do with how easy it has been to manage my eczema over the last 1 to 2 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brooke703 from Deep clean before shampoo With an oily scalp and using dry shampoo on the odd days, I found this product a god sent to remove product build up and oil. Use before your shampoo, scrub scalp and then add your shampoo while the scrub is still in for an extra clean. Found it works well with Sukin’s deep cleanse range of shampoo especially if you have thick oily hair. The tube needs to be cut once you reach the end of the product to scrape everything last inch of product out. I use once a week to remove all the built up styling product from during the week. Found that also using a small amount on the ends also helped - hairdresser was amazed with the condition of my hair during my recent trim

Rated 5 out of 5 by clearcrystalwater from Scalp Is Left Zingy & Minty, Refreshed & Detoxed This is very refreshing and cleansing to use for the scalp. I saw something like this in another brand and then when I saw Sukin made one (a scalp scrub) I decided to purchase it. It's got a refreshing minty fragrance and little scrubby bits that work gently but effectively to invigorate and detox the scalp. I love this as I have an oily scalp but I expect other skin types would like this too. I tend to use a shampoo most days as my hair gets oily fast - like usually after 24 hours it starts to lose it's vibe. This creamy based scrub gets rubbed around the scalp in sections, one section at a time and then by the time I've done this I rinse it out thoroughly. Then I shampoo and boy does the shampoo froth up! So this product creates an extreme double cleanse for the scalp and hair. Then after rinsing shampoo out I just condition my hair as normal. My hair is left gorgeously fresh and extra clean and my scalp feels minty and amazing. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to give their scalp and hair an extra dose of purification. This deep cleanses and is not hard to use. It doesn't need to be left in the hair for any amount of time. I just used my regular shampoo too but it does say on the bottle, or suggests, to use a Natural Balance one by Sukin. I found my regular one worked fine but after using this I would love to try Sukin's shampoos and conditioners. I will buy this again when it runs out, I found I used around 30-40ml for my entire head and so it will get used up quicker than a shampoo normally would.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lily P. from First time using a scalp scrub [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really thick hair that gets greasy very quickly, so I live for dry shampoo and other hydrating products, so I was really excited to use this scalp scrub - plus who doesn't love a head massage (it's the best part of a boujie trip to the hairdressers!). I initially wasn't really sure how to use this one effectively, and even with segmenting my hair felt like it wasn't really getting right to the roots and really exfoliating everything clean. I've tried it again a few times, experimenting with different amounts of the scrub (definitely need more than you think), but it comes with heaps of product which I was pleasantly surprised with. Such value! My hair did smell fresh and clean, but I don't think I really got the value of the scrub and the exfoliated scalp that I assumed I would, which was disappointing, but if you have quite thin hair then I can see it being much more beneficial.

However after giving this a try I was rather impressed. I often exercise a lot which means i need to wash my hair more often or use products like dry shampoo for those in between days and i had never really thought about product build up before. It could seem quite confusing to people if you do not normally give your hair many treatments however this felt like I was doing a mini treatment. After trying it I did feel like my scalp felt much cleaner and my hair felt less weighed down and heavy overall. It is a good product to incorporate into your hair routine even if you only do it once a week just to give your hair a bit of a detox and super clean so you’re able to absorb other products better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favourite product of the Sukin Natural Balance range. It is like a combination of a massage and deep exfoliation for your scalp. The results are shinier hair, healthier looking and feeling hair and a nice clean scalp! I use this product once per week to shed product build-up and unsightly dry skin. Using dry shampoo, other miscellaneous styling products and exercising a few times per week, I find my scalp can have a lot of residue built up by the end of the week. Sukin Natural Balance Scalp Scrub gently and effectively exfoliates and leaves me feeling fresh and clean.

With long, thick, wavy hair this has hardly made it's way to my scalp. I usually use a silicone brush to give my scalp good scrub and I've never seen a need for a product like this. The texture was slightly offputting as it felt like I've had buc=nch of sand in my hair, not the best feeling in the world. The best thing about this product is the fresh, minty scent. I ended up using it few timed around my hairline but didn't notice any benefits. This is something that is non-essential in my hair care and I would not choose to purchase this product. I can't see how this would benefit anyone in any more effective way than a simple silicone scalp brush would.
