Rated 3 out of 5 by from I got this Sukin Sensitive Gel from Big W I got this Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel from Big W, when they had Sukin products on sale for half price. I love Sukin. I love that they are Australian and their products do what they claim to. The pretty pink label caught my eye and I have not tried the sensitive range yet, so I thought I would give it a go. The gel celanser works to remve the day's dirt and grime away. A small squirt from the pump action bottle dispenses enough cleanser for your face and neck. There is no much bubble or foam with this gel cleanser, as you would expect from a sensitive range. There is no smell either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle gel cleanser I bought this Sukin facial cleansing gel to try something different on my mature combination skin. I’m a big fan of Sukin skincare so I had high hopes I’d found another good product. This is for sensitive skins according to the front of the bottle but on the back it says for combination/oily skin types. My skin is not sensitive. It’s made in Australia and is cruelty free with no animal derivatives. It comes in a brown pump top bottle which is translucent enough to see how much is left. As it’s part of the sensitive range it has a nice pink label. It comes out easily and once you get to the end you can rinse it out with water so you use every last bit. Its ingredients include cucumber extract, chamomile, green tea, avocado oil, rose hip, and vanilla. Sukin is always proud of what it doesn’t put in so you’ll find no parabens, artificial colours or fragrance among a list of ‘missing’ ingredients. This is also soap-free. This is a clear gel with a nice smell - I feel like I can smell the vanilla but maybe that’s because i know it’s in there. You put a small bit on your hands, lather with water then rub into your face and rinse well. It doesn’t say it will remove makeup and I haven’t tried. I usually use it in the shower in the morning so no make up anyway. It foams quite nicely and feels nice on my skin, and as you don’t need a lot it is good value for money. This leaves my skin feeling clean but not squeaky clean (ie stripped) or tight although I always use moisturiser afterwards. I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it for combination/oily skin types, especially sensitive but of course you need to check it doesn’t contain any ingredients you are sensitive to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mild cleanser not irritating to skin I bought this cleanser recently as it was on sale at my local supermarket. I thought I’d tried it out to see if it made any difference to my tendency to have red blotchy cheeks (sometimes even referred to as Rosacea) although I think it’s just red irritated skin. I didn’t realise when I bought it that it is a gel and not a cream cleanser that I’m usually used to using from Sukin. The clear gel has a pleasant fragrance and does easily glide onto the face and skin of the neck etc. It gets slightly foamy but not over the top. Washes off easily and leaves a nice soft skin feeling as well as fresh fragrance on the skin. Haven’t noticed any major changes to my skin redness but it also isn’t getting any worse. Seems to be cleansing my skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely cleansing gel I have always used creamy cleansers because I have dry skin. Recently, I have been experimenting with cleansing balms and cleansing oils. The only thing that I don't like about creamy cleansers and cleansing balms is that they seem to leave a subtle film on my skin. I bought the Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel because I was looking for a cleanser that did not leave a film on my skin. The Sensitive Cleansing Gel is in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pump dispenser and it has a pleasant scent. I used a Face Halo makeup remover pad with the gel to make the removal process more effective. I also used an eye makeup remover to remove mascara and an aromatherapy toning mist to ensure all traces of makeup were gone. There was always a subtle residue of makeup on the cotton makeup rounds, but not as much residue as after using a creamy cleanser. My skin felt a bit drier after I had removed my makeup, but it was fine after I applied a facial oil. I would get a horrible taste in my mouth if I didn’t have my mouth closed during the cleansing process. I have never had this experience with a cleanser before! I enjoyed using a cleansing gel for the first time, but I'm not sure if I would buy one again. My skin is dry and it is possible that I might make it drier if I use a cleansing gel on a regular basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel To be honest, when it comes to cleansers I generally purchase whatever is on sale. For me if a cleanser cleans my skin, I'm happy. I don't need anything fancy because essentially it merely gets washed down the sink. The Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel is my most recent cleanser in rotation. This cleansing gel is soap free and contains green tea, chamomile, cucumber and avocado oil. These ingredients cleanse skin but are known to be gentle. The cleanser comes in a tinted plastic bottle and has a pink label. The bottle contains 125 ml of product. I really like that the bottle has a pump top dispenser, makes delivery of the gel trouble free. A little of this gel goes a long way. It lathers very well without being difficult to rinse off the skin. Being a gentle formulation means that my skin is cleansed well without feeling stripped, dry and tight. If I'm wearing makeup I do begin with an oil to dissolve makeup and I have found that this is a great cleanser to follow up the oil cleanse to remove all remaining traces of makeup and oil. The Sukin Sensitive Gel Cleanser meets what I expect of a cleanser. Cleanses my skin adequately whilst being gentle and not stripping my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has assisted in calming my sensitive skin The sensitive cleansing gel was one of the first products I tried from the Sukin range, due to my dry, acne prone, sensitive skin. And upon finishing the bottle, I was able to say that this gel, accompanied with other skincare items, has assisted in calming my skin. The gel has a somewhat subtle scent, as the product was specifically made for people with sensitive skin, that is presented in a 125ml bottle with a pump dispenser - this gave you more control over the amount of content that came out. The texture of the soap-free gel appeared to be just right, which lathered up quickly. The product effectively removed impurities, while keeping the skin feeling soft and hydrated. Although I am currently happy with the state of my sensitive skin from where it initially was, I will keep this cleansing gel as a substitute for if and/or when my skin were to become irritable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle Yet Effective My skin is normally fairly oily but lately it has become more sensitive and at time dry so i have found that i need to change my skincare. I have purchased this cleanser several time for my mum but have only recently switched myself. The texture of the product is gel like (clear & soap free formula) that gently cleanses my skin without drying or irritating my skin. There is very little scent which is a good thing as i sometimes find that the fragrance can be overpowering. It contains natural ingredients including cucumber, green tea and chamomile. Unlike a lot of cleansers i do find that it doesn't suds up as much however i do not mind it so much as it does a good job of cleansing regardless.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's nothing special First, the packaging looks just like any other Sukin product in their sensitive line: same pinkish colour, same font, same sized bottle. So I bought it accidentally, instead of their cleansing lotion. However, the content is completely different from the cleansing lotion. The gel is more like a gel to foam cleanser that lathers up. It cleanses without drying, but it's not efficient against acne, which is what I'd expect from a stronger cleanser that contains green tea and cucumber. Plus it has a chemical scent that I'm not fond of. I'll finish this bottle, but won't repurchase.
