Rated 1 out of 5 by BelC from Disappointed I have been buying A’kin shampoo & conditioner for over 20 years, initially as a single woman in my mid twenties and then introducing it to my partner and kids.. it’s the only hair care we use and we’ve always been very happy to spend that little bit extra for the quality and results. We have been using the newly designed bottles for the last month and are so disappointed to find that there has been a change to the formula. We are now finding we need to shampoo twice to get a lather, we need to wash our hair more often and my scalp is irritated and itchy. I’ve even found some “cradle cap” on my scalp. I’m really disappointed that after all these years, I need to start searching for another brand..

Why would you change it? that’s unfair to people who’ve been using this for years and now have to find a different shampoo because their favourite brand changed everything. You even shrank the bottle too while keeping it the same price if not more expensive than the old one. Thanks to your greed, it’s harder for lower income people to afford a decent natural Haircare routine. And by the way, the new ingredients cause more hair loss so thanks 👍

It feels like my hair has never been dyed before and I'm once again working with natural hair (which we all know isn't true at 45 years of age, I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with even a little bit of damage. Packaging is great and scent is great as well, overall a really nice product. I received this product from A'kin to review.

I can’t put my hand on it but I think it smells like a lush product I used to have. I absolutely love the way my hair smells 100% recommend I will be buying this ! I also have dandruff and Ive noticed I have next to no dandruff anymore! I did not purchase this product I received it free as a part of a product testing program.

Come the end of the day though, my hair does not feel good. Not having to use any additional products to reduce frizz though so pros and cons. I like the smell of it though and so does my daughter. I think I will switch to another type and see how that is - perhaps my hair isn't damaged enough to need this one?
