Rated 5 out of 5 by Gea from Hydrates dry skin. Do not be fooled by the lightweight of this serum, it really does what it promises. This serum absorbed into my skin immediately (that may be because my skin is so dry that it inhaled everything straight away). I also noticed that my skin got softer and smoother. All the weariness that showed on my skin (after waking up 6 times per night to take care of a baby) was gone. My skin felt rehydrated, looked younger and was soft to touch. I applied it twice a day, morning and night, after cleansing my skin and before applying moisturising cream. I would recommend it to everyone who has dry and sensitive skin as it was perfect for my skin, did not cause any irritation and absorbed fast.

This product is different. Within a few days of using, I noticed my skin looked firmer, glowier, and more refreshed. Also if I skipped an application I still looked good later in the day or the next morning. A quick reapply and my skin looks great a few hours later. I work long days so this a great aid. I’m in my early 40s with a little one so I need all the help I can get!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this cetaphil optimal hydration 48 hr activation serum for almost 2 weeks, it is now one of my favourite products. My face use to be super dry and flaky. After using this serum twice a day my face feel so soft and plump. My fine lines have reduced a lot and my skin just feel so hydrated now which i love. I can definitely feel the difference. I also love that this product does not contain any parabens or other nasties. I am loving cetaphil so much right now. I will gladly recommend to all my friends and family.

It’s simple to use, I just smooth it over my face after cleansing then follow up with a good moisturiser. At under $37.00 it’s great value for money. It works by keeping moisture trapped in the skin to prevent it drying out and contains gorgeous goodies to nourish my skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid which is a great anti ageing ingredient so this leaves my skin looking more youthful. After using this for a while my skin is smoother and fine lines are less noticeable. I love this product and would highly recommend it

Rated 4 out of 5 by HelenP5 from Hydrating Serum for Sensitive Skin This serum comes in a sealed 30 ml pump bottle which ensures no contamination of the product during use. The serum is more like a lightweight cream which feels a little wet on application but absorbs quickly to leave my face feeling soft & hydrated without any sticky or greasy residue. I used this serum morning & night as directed for just over two weeks. I found that it layered well with my makeup & other products in the collection. It is fragrance-free & although it didn't cause any irritation to my sometimes-sensitive skin, I did experience a bit of a breakout on my chin, but I believe this was the serum helping to clear some congestion, as by week two, my skin felt so much smoother & the breakouts stopped. It states that it can be used alone or layered with the Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream. I found it just wasn't enough on its own, so I started to use the daily cream as a night cream too & found I was waking up to glowing, supple skin every morning. Overall, this serum has helped to make my skin feel & look more hydrated & plumper, with a more youthful glow. I would recommend this product to anyone needing more hydration, especially those with sensitive skin.

Looks like the cream would be hard to rub in but it’s really not it sinks in really well. Sinks in almost instantly. No strong scent. While it does help to keep my skin moisturised it might not be strong enough for my skin in the colder months might be be more beneficial to me in summer. No irritation as yet Love the dispenser I really appreciate products in a pump no finger in tubs or messy droppers so big plus

As soon as I used this product the whole day face just looked plump & dewy I never actually use any hydrating products in my Skincare I never actually thought that need it so when I use that I could feel it was a lot better then using the retinol and vitamin C because not only did it hydrate it made my skin look fresh and you fall which is why I use the other products. I would use this product all year not just at winter where I would think that you would use hydrating products
