Lovely night cream
Sukin's Sensitive Calming Night Cream comes in a generous-sized glass jar with the usual pink label of the Sukin Sensitive range. The cream has a good texture and consitency. It's kind of medium-weight, like a light night cream or a heavy day cream. I didn't notice any scent with this product.
I enjoy using this night cream all year round - it is heavy enough to be moisturising during winter but not too heavy during summer, not even with my combination skin. I noticed some calming effects when my skin was irritated and red.
The reason why I deducted a star is because it doesn't always sink in easily. If I use it over a toner, I can dab it in, but if I use it over a serum, it'll just sit on the surface.

Calming night cream
Sukin naturals sensitive calming night cream is a cream that is soft to apply. Its a good night cream that isn't too heavy on the skin. Its a natural product that contains cucumber, chamomile, aloe vera and evening primrose. You only need to use a small amount. Apply after cleansing in the evening. I really like using Sukin products.

Unsuitable for my skin but great for a friend with sensitive skin
I bought the Sukin Naturals Sensitive Calming Night Cream because its ingredients sounded appealing. The cream comes in an amber glass bottle with a screw top lid. The cream had a medium consistency, it spread easily onto my skin and it had a pleasant vanilla scent.
Although the cream is marketed as a night cream, I used it as a day cream because I have dry and mature skin. The cream felt adequate for this purpose, but I have used other creams that felt slightly more nourishing.
I felt a tingling sensation for a few minutes after I applied the cream to my face. This surprised me because I have used a few other Sukin products without this occurring. It is possible that my face did not like the vanilla extract or another ingredient. I did not feel the tingling sensation on my décolletage or arms when I tested it on those areas. For the record, my facial skin is very rarely sensitive to “natural” ingredients, but sometimes it reacts to products that contain synthetic ingredients, chemical SPF etc.
I ended up giving the Sensitive Calming Night Cream to a friend that has very sensitive combination skin that reacts to many products. She said that she really loved the cream and that it felt soothing. She has not experienced any reactions after using the cream. I am happy that the product went to a good home.

Left my oily and didn't really feel it did much
I have combination skin that's more leaning toward oily and really sensitive. Ive loved all the other sukin sensitive range , but this one just did nothing for me. As a night cream you expect it to be thicker and denser but I felt really oily after putting it on and the next morning was even worse. It kind of just sits on the skin, I dont feel it absorbs or moisturises, even in the morning when you wash your face I feel there is no difference. Just wasn't for me

Great for calming skin
I love this product. It is a staple in my routine. No matter what new products I try I keep coming back to this one. I use it as a base and add what my skin needs most for that day. Some days I need a little extra vitamin e or tea tree so I just add a couple of drops to this moisturizer and wake up in the morning with perfect skin. It really is great for sensitive skin and really calms any redness and does not irritate even the most inflamed patches.

Lovely night cream
I purchased this cream when my skin was acting up with red patches everywhere. I found that it did have a nice calming sensation when I put it on my face. It absorbs into the skin nicely and is quite moisturising.
It comes in a nice glass jar and has a very light vanilla scent to it.
Definitely look out for it when it's on sale.

Not soothing or calming
Having enjoyed the regular sukin night cream and heard good things about the sensitive version I decided to try it. When I applied the cream my face stung mildly and my skin reddened slightly. I am so surprised to see this product listed as suitable for sensitive skin. The texture is between a rich night cream and a regular day cream so if you like a lighter night cream you might enjoy it. It is a lovely cream to use on the body and as a result I will probably buy the regular body cream in a tub, but I definitely do not want this on my face. I use a wide variety of creams and do not have overly reactive skin. The scent is a kind of sweet vanilla and there is something about it that reminds me of the super greens detoxifying mask which was horrendous on my face, so there must be some ingredient in those products that my skin doesn’t like.

Used this when my skins sensitivity went into overdrive
So I naturally have quite sensitive skin but every once in a while it just goes through a stage where it’s extremely sensitive and reacts to anything I put on it. So after trying to calm it down with my go to products that usually work when my skin becomes this reactive (Dermalogica ultra calming products and barrier repair) to no avail I was in the chemist and saw this. I have tried the day calming moisturiser by sukin in the past with no reaction so picked up that and this Sensitive calming night cream. Started using both of those that night as my skin couldn’t really get any worse at that point as it was sore, dry, itchy and red. Upon application this relieved my skin of some of the uncomfortableness and made it look less red. After using this for a few more days my skin was feeling so much better there was no itchiness at all anymore. After going through weeks and weeks of such an extreme reaction and this clearing it up in just a few days I am now convinced this may just be a miracle in a jar.
I did continue to use it for a few more weeks however once my skin was on the mend there was no great improvement to skin tone, clarity, pores or anything else. I think this is an excellent calming night cream and if that is all you are looking for it’s perfect.
I am constantly so surprised at Sukins quality for such an affordable price.
