I trialed it at first mainly on my feet during winter, because they were so dry. But it isn’t hydrating enough for my feet, but it was a lovely product to apply on feet after a shower. I then started using it all over my body, and it was great! I wish it was a little thicker so more hydrating but it’s a lotion so makes sense. And i love it’s natural! The fragrance the cream has is also lemony, it was nice applying it all over the body. So i would recommend giving this product a go but not great for extra dry spots on the skin like the heels of the feet.

It does what it says on the bottle and it's a pleasure to apply, with a subtle natural scent and rich consistency. The reason I haven't rated it higher is because I tend to prefer to indulge in more extravagant body cream products, with a whipped consistency or complex fragrance profile. I know, I know, I'm a shameless boudoir type. But this cream is a fantastic holy grail product for dry bits in the colder months. My skin is a little sensitive to essential oils at the moment so I probably won't purchase it anytime soon but I'd consider it in the future.

I applied the body lotion on my arms and legs, it was easily absorbed into my skin without leaving a greasy residue. My skin feels incredibly hydrated, it's fantastic. The lotion has a nice subtle scent that's not overpowering. This will be a staple item in my bathroom from now on. The lotion comes in a plastic bottle with a flip top lid, product is easy to squeeze out. This has been recommended to me frequently, so I'm glad I got to finally try it

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gloss_Geek from A drink of water for the body! I have always loved the original Weleda Skin Food and have used it as an intense body moisturiser for years. When I saw this lotion I had to try it ASAP! The first thing I noticed about the Weleda Skin Food Body Lotion was the lighter texture when compared to the original Skin Food. It isn't as thick, so makes it much easier to rub in and spread across your body. I really liked the new texture of the body lotion — it's light, wasn't sticky and absorbed well and quickly into the skin. One of my non-negotiables for body moisturisers. I normally struggle with very dry, flaky skin all over my body — particularly on my legs and arms. At this time of year it can get particularly bad, and I often feel a little gross and 'scaly', like a snake ready to shed its skin. Once I'd used the Skin Food Body Lotion for two weeks, I could notice a real difference in my skin's texture. It made me feel moisturised and my normally dry skin felt smooth and nourished. The other thing I loved was that signature smell. It's the same as the original Skin Food and it made my whole body smell delightful. The other thing I really love is that it 100 per cent certified natural and made with plant extracts and rich oils, which makes me feel like I am doing something good for my body.

I liked it instantly I found the lotion very hydrating, has a lovely texture not drying or greasy just perfect for my skin type. The scent smells so fresh and citrusy to me. It gives me the vibe of a holiday spa. It has extracts of natural pansy, 100% organic calendula, chamomile, and sunflower seed oil accompanied by the indulgent fragrance of orange, lavender, and benzoin. My skin feels soft, smooth, and nourished every time I use it. I would highly recommend and buy it again, it's a winter essential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Awesome for winter This is just as great as the 'Weleda Skin Food Body Butter', but it's just in a less thick formula and is easy for travel due to its packaging. I have used this on numerous occasions and can't fault it. It smells fresh and yummy and is all natural (which is a huge bonus) and is my go-to for hydrating my skin in winter, especially after a shower. I also love how this product is a little less thick than the body butter which makes it, a little easier to apply to spread all over the body. I don’t only use it in winter, but as a pick – me – up on the parts of my body that become a little drier than usual in between showers, such as my kneecaps or ankles. The best thing about this lotion is that it is also for everybody, no matter what gender or age. I am so lucky to have come across thus brand and will continue to use this product as my no. 1 body cream in the future.

This lotion has a gorgeous silky texture and it sinks straight into skin, it also smells amazing. It’s filled with goodies to feed and hydrate skin and it has definitely made a difference to my skin. After just a few days my skin was softer and smoother and skin was nowhere near as dry. It’s great for rough spots like heels and elbows because it’s so hydrating and has really repaired my skin. I would highly recommend this product
